It's FRIDAY @ the MSC

Good Morning Everyone!
Our Italian dinner last evening was AMAZING!!! We will refer anyone we know to this restaurant. Our 2 for $48 coupon included appetizers of bruschetta, a small antipasto plate, a cup of soup & a salad. We had our pick of any entree (there were at least 30) ranging in price from $22-30. ALL of their pasta is made on site (they tell you on the menu that this will not be a "quick" meal as everything....including their bread & soups are made to order). Kevin had fettuccine with shrimp and I had linguine with clams with a white wine sauce. Caveat is you must order a drink...but that includes tea, coffee and soda. We "splurged" and each had a glass of wine.
I'm going to chair Yoga this morning which will be the last one for a while since my thumb surgery is Wednesday.
That's all I got for today -- enjoy your First Friday of October.

Good Morning Linda............BN'ers to come!
TGIF!
Off to see the Dentist for cleaning today. I had to cancel an appointment a few weeks ago & they originally couldn't get me back in until later this month, but they had a cancellation so we'll get this out of the way today
.
Hats off to our Detroit Tigers as they followed up their collapse to the Cleveland
Guardians in the regular season by defeating them in the first round of the playoffs.
Now off to Seattle to face the Mariners!
Mr. SPH, prepare to be Skubalized!!
A Good Day to All

Well, that was then, and this is now, but last time the Ms and the TIgers met, in July in Detroit, the Tigers had the best record in the MLB and the visitors won all three games, 12-3, 15-7, and 8-4. Skubal got the L in game 1 of the series, giving up 4 runs on 4 hits in 5 innings.
Hopefully the Tigers will get Woo'd and Dumped on this weekend.

I was out for a little while this afternoon and when I was driving home I heard 2 songs on the radio that I hadn't heard in years. My Sharona by The Knack and Something In The Air by Thunderclap Newman. I had flashbacks to my misspent youth.

Afternoon all.
Spent a few hours on the beach, and then a short time at the pool. It's very windy today at the beach, makes for sand blowing everywhere. In our drinks, in bags, even IN the cooler! I'm done chewing sand for the day.
Otherwise it's been another great day. Dinner at Jayla's tonight.

And NO karaoke for us!!

Beautiful day here in MB.
I got to chair yoga and then we went to Total Wine (same one as Larry). I got some corks from their wine tasting events. They usually recycle them but are willing to give them to me. Making cork crafts will be on hiatus due to surgery but some of them up to 30 each so my collection goes quickly.

Ratz! A fantastic day outside was cancelled due to a cold. I called my friend before dawn not to make the 14 mile trip here. In the AM he often sees a dozen to 2 dozen deer on or near the road.

Hello?
Are you guys open? I was just worried about this shutdown thing (although I have no real idea what it means, other than workers suffering due to political posturing, as usual).
Sorry to hear about your cancelled trip Bill.
Things are little slow here in Château de Rabbitz today - yesterday we spent the afternoon doing a lunch at a local cellar door that was an exploration of the Grenache grape variety. About 12 different wines were sampled - some of them were absolutely spectacular. Some were a bit 'out there' in terms of the way they were made but were still interesting.
Oh well, coconut water and tylenol (I hope I'm not pregnant) to start the day, followed by a proper coffee then into the day.

THE BIG DUMPER.
And the Yankees have SCHLITTLER! A name that makes the announcers
very, VERY, careful!

I got the big bandage off, but the stitches are still in. Hopefully next Thursday they'll come out. Until then I have it covered because it looks a bit gross.
I have almost got full range of movement back and the surgeon said that since it's coming along and that I am actually doing the rehab he asked me to do, then I won't need to go to a physiotherapist (I think they're call physical therapists in the US).
It does get sore and stiff if I don't keep it moving and doing the exercises. So the answer is right there I suppose

Fortunately last night he was just the little DUMPER with 3 singles

Tigers stole one last night, now let’s do it again
