And that's all that's going on today.

Hey everyone !!
ugh. bad night -- woke up at 4 (which right now seems normal). but (and this is my fault) I thought I would skip a pain pill since I didnt feel too bad. BAD decision. went back to sleep until 6:30 and, you guessed it, in really bad pain. So now it's taking longer to get relief.
We've got rain so it's a good day to be inside and veg on the sofa:).

Good morning.
It was raining when I woke up this morning and according to the weather app on my phone there's a 100% chance of rain the rest of the day. I guess I'll sit on the couch and drink coffee.

Happy Sunday Morning all!
The wind has eased off a bit a the sun is just peaking over the treeline. Forecast is for it to blow a gale all day (lucky gale).
I took the last dressing off my hand last night and this morning trimmed the peeling skin from the wound. It looks all sealed up so I can start to catch up on some of the chores in the orchard. Oh Joy!
Out of the blue I got an invite to my old fire brigade's 60th anniversary dinner. It's in March so a trip back to Sydney is now on the cards. Now that is going to be a scary night, full of war stories and too much booze...

The rain had stopped for a little while but it's pouring now. Oh well, there's a hockey game on TV at 7:00 so I'll pop open a beer and watch the game.

That's a
long race...and 1,000.29 kilometres (621.6 mi). But in the USA there's a NASCAR race for about the same distance (600 miles), it's the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina that they race. Some drivers do this race the SAME day after they've raced the Indy 500 (500 miles). Those are some crazy drivers.

Sooo, I'm happy to report that DU won 6-0.

Our usual Saturday night games start at 6:00, but tonight it was 7:00 because there was another sporting event going on at the school. So time to wind down with adult beverages... G'night soon.

And then there's the Mille Miglia (1,000 miles), first run in 1927. Only cars built in 1957 or earlier and belonging to a car model that took part in at least one Mille Miglia from 1927 to 1957 are eligible for entry.

I watched the NFL game that was in London this morning. The Jests might not win a game this season. They had less than 100 yards total offense in the game, -10 yards passing and the QB was sacked 9 times. Pathetic.

And the Broncos offense seems to have sucked, Larry... I'm not able to view the game, but Cameron says they did.

Why did I post this in Saturday's thread instead of Sunday's? What a doofus.
