It’s still soggy here in Myrtle Beach. There’s more rain coming. I didn’t sleep well last night. Probly worst since surgery and I don’t know why since I’ve got no pain. The last pain pill I took was Saturday at 11 pm.
nothing on the schedule today. Well, Kevin needs to take the fist sample of his newly kegged (on Saturday) beer
With all the rain Saturday and yesterday I haven't gone out except to go downstairs and get my mail Saturday afternoon. I finally get to go out and actually do something today. One of the local tv stations is sponsoring a blood drive at the mall and I have an appointment at 11:00. Free cookies and juice.

Free cookies and juice.
They better be good cookies!
Speaking of rain - our southwestern part of the state is having some serious flooding. The rain from Tropical Storm Priscilla is wreaking havoc. The city of Grand Junction had 2" of rain the other day, and that's the most they've received from one storm in one day since 1941. Some video of the flooding..
Good morning gang!
Dang Linda, sorry to hear about so much post surgery pain & difficulties. Hopeful that things will be on the upswing much sooner than later. Keep the faith
Not a good weekend for my sports interests this weekend, Tigers, Wolverines & Lions with L's. Red Wings did split their first 2 games including a W against the Maple Leafs who normally have our number.
HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY everyone. No Tammy, not talking about your funky little town
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Au contraire Dr. C, it was a great weekend for sports!
The Mariners won a couple of games, the UW Huskies beat Rutgers, and the Seahawks beat the Jaguars... a trifecta!
Everybody on the other coast stay safe and dry!
I was just minding my own business and the the next thing I know I''m the same age as old people….

Mini Oreos, can't go wrong with Oreos.
There's a reporter here with a cameraman from the TV station that's sponsoring the drive. I was sitting in the chair waiting for them to stick the needle in my arm and the reporter took her phone out and asked if she could take my picture. I asked her if she wanted my autograph too. The Red Cross employee she had been interviewing laughed, the reporter didn't.
When I was leaving the mall another reporter was just getting there, she thanked me for donating. She looked like she puts her makeup on with a trowel.
There was a Rolls Royce in the mall parking lot. I think if I had enough money to afford a Rolls I would have a second car if I had to go to the mall. Or I would pay someone to go for me.
it hasn't rained for a few hours and I actually talked Kevin into going with me on a walk around the neighborhood. it felt sooooo good to get some fresh air and have the wind blowing a little. But since the humidity is so high I now have the smaller blonde version of Roseanne Roseannadanna hair.
I was watching the 5:00 news and the weather report was just on. The weather guy said it rained for 60 consecutive hours from Friday until it finally stopped last night. Myrtle Beach had 6 1/2 inches of rain but Pawleys Island, about 15 miles to the south, had 11.9 inches. At least it washed the bird poop off my car.

I have only seen Rolls Roces once. At a very expensive summer camp, on parent visitation day, there was 7 all parked together. All had chauffeurs.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I think it has traveled up here as we are in the midst of rain that's been going on for 48 hours now, with more in tomorrow's forecast too.
And if any of our BNers are from the GWN... Happy Thanksgiving!
