hello everyone. (please excuse my non-capitalization and missing 's as it's hard to type with one hand)
beautiful weather here again today.
my ladies lunch out was really nice and the food was delicious. a new place for me. but I was exhausted afterwards. a 60 min round trip ride, 6 loud women celebrating a birthday of 1. it was a crazy 4 hrs. but I was happy to get out of the house!
im going to try chair yoga today at 3:30 and then an in-home dinner with our church small (9) group.
hope you all have a smooth day

Good morning Linda!

Glad you had a good time, but don't overdo it.
Not much going on today, just a few last minute things to do before being at my sister's tomorrow for the next week.
I'm good with not a lot to do.

Good afternoon.
I'm at Bohemian Bull having a beer from a brewery called Fat Orange Cat. The beer is a stout called Santa Claws.

It's pretty good but it's 9% abv and I have to drive so I should probably leave after I finish it.

Good afternoon from me Linda! Glad to read you are feeling better, but I'm with Penny in hoping you are not doing too much too soon - especially one-handed!
Penny - enjoy your time at your sister's, from the photos you have posted, it looks like a lovely location! I am sure your fur-nieces appreciate your care too!

Great name... and at 9% abv,
I agree with your departure plan!

Thank you!!! I love their home, and where it's located. Besides we get to eat their food. LOL!!! I love the fur girls, but I have to remember that they're just still puppies no matter what size they are.

Hi there! I worked on Christmas displays for over 3 hours. My feet and one knee hurt, but it was nice to get in the holiday groove.
Hope the day went as easy as possible, moog.
Put Kevin on the job as your missing thumb, Linda.

I enjoyed chair yoga this afternoon. It's funny how after missing just 3 sessions my stretching was not as much as it should be. But I plan to be there tomorrow morning for the 9:30 session.
I got a "thank you" card signed by my ortho surgeon and his team. I've never heard of this. Anyone???
I got notice from my insurance co that an EOB being processed. It's all the stuff from surgery -- about 4 pages worth. The total charges were $12,873.....it appears that my share is 0.00.

He's doing a lot but he won't take dictation.

Well, I'm a little bummed out.
In the early eighties I qualified as a SCUBA diving instructor. I went on to do that for over 25 years.
I heard this morning that one of the guys who worked in the first shop I worked at and was also a divemaster on my original Open Water Diver course passed away yesterday.
I haven't seen Bob for the best part of 25 or 30 years - but I am still oddly bummed out.
Unfortunately, this is becoming a common occurrence as I get older...

Yep, from my back surgeon, and hospital staff, as well.

Nice touch.
And I just got word that my Cataract surgeries will cost me $135. My hospital bill from my fall was over $10,000 and it cost me $140. Better than the insurance I used to have.

I know how you feel, Rabz. I see my past eroding with contemporaries passing.

Indeed....
There's just too much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can't go wrong....

We've been slammed at the shop this week. Bryan went to pick up my dad's ashes. The landscape guy has gotten started and we got a second estimate for cleaning out the house and they are scheduled for 11/3. Still waiting for the letter naming me executor. Need to contact the cemetery and schedule the burial of the ashes.
Also half of our town is owned or funded by Ariel Corp and the current CEO Karen Wright passed away yesterday so this next week is going to be the hell on wheels.
Moogy, I'm thinking about you! Hang in there
