Good morning, Mr. SPH! :)

I would rather have more light at night than in the mornings. :-?

Not happy that the Dodgers won - again.

Going for a ride with E (he's driving) to see if I feel comfortable driving tomorrow for another doctor appointment.

Other than that, just some cooking..

But, one more thing: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELAINE!!!! [smilie=hate.gif] [smilie=happydance.gif]

Good morning.

I had no rooting interest in the World Series but I'm kind of glad the Dodgers won. Clayton Kershaw is retiring and he gets to go out with another championship. His lifetime record is 222-96. He's the only pitcher since 1900 with more than 200 wins and less than 100 losses. When he becomes eligible for the Hall of Fame in 5 years he's going right in on the first ballot.

Okay, that's the ONLY reason that it's good for the Dodgers to win...

I'm glad that George Springer didn't get another ring and that Blue Jays manager John Schneider has a few more things to whine about.

Our Callistemons (Bottlebrushes) heavy with blooms and heavy with rain.

In a bit I'll have to wander around the block to see how many branches have snapped due to the weight. We have over 200 of these trees and they are all sagging under the weight.

Once the sun comes out the whole place will be buzzing with the furious work of the bees.

I was on my way to the park and it started raining so I detoured to the mall for my daily walk. I saw 3 guys, they looked about 15, wearing super hero T-shirts. They made Sheldon and the gang from Big Bang Theory look studly.

Turner Classic Movies is doing a salute to Robert Redford today. The Sting is on in less than 10 minutes and Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid is on after that. I think I'll pop open a beer, plant myself on the couch and watch both of those movies.

That’s a beautiful picture. I love the pollinator plants. It’s the bees I’m allergic to 👀

Two of my favorite movies, ever. And happy birthday to your father!

Unfortunately, Mrs Rabz is also allergic to bee stings. So during spring she has to be doubly careful as the callistemons and fruit trees attract enormous numbers of bees - several of our neighbours bring in hives for pollination. Naturally, as the fruit trees finish blooming, the olives start theirs and looking at the buds on the olives, this year will be one for the busy bees :)

Some days you can actually hear the buzzing from inside the house.

My hayfever will continue unabated...

A big THANK YOU for the Birthday wishes!
My kids were home for the weekend, so I was not online much and not on my laptop (which is how I access BN) at all, so I just saw them today!
