Mayer show Great for you Bill 8)
Should be an enjoyable evening.
Not sure what your Last Island reference is coming from but hopefully there will STILL be an Island in our futures at SOME point in time :o

Today is the last dry day leading into the weekend until next Tuesday. Will still be comfortable tomorrow temp wise but supposed to be soggy, then the temps nose dive from the mid 40's into the mid to low 30's for Sat, Sun & Monday. Yuk.

Enjoy your Thirsty Thursday everyone

Hi, Ken. Last Island is my favorite Peter Mayer song. I have his CD in my garage CD player and that is the first song I hear when I'm puttering.

Good morning Bill and Ken.

It's supposed to be 70 degrees again so another day with no pants. The forecast is for 70-75 degrees through Sunday, then a high of only about 52 for Monday. I guess I'll have to get the jeans out next week.

Good morning Bill, Ken, and Larry! :)

Just got back from the eye surgeon to see how yesterday's work is doing, and both eyes are looking good! :) I hate having readers to see up close (and they're so NOT stylish). ;) I go back for my one month check up on December 4th, then I can make an appointment with my optometrist for new glasses that are just readers on the bottom, and 'clear' on top.

E's home working today and tomorrow, so I'll try and be quiet. :D

It's beautiful outside, and still fairly good weather hanging on for November. :D

I hate the end of daylight savings time - sunset at 4:43? I've already got the winter blues.....
It was so dark and cold and rainy last night that I was ready for bed by 6:00!

I'm at one of our local breweries. Along with their beers, they always have one hard seltzer on tap. The last time I was here they had a pina colada seltzer. Today the beer list just says "Hurricane" for the seltzer. The bartender told me it's like a rum punch. It's very good.

This brewery just released their app a couple of weeks ago, I downloaded it and you get a free drink for downloading the app. Not necessarily a beer, they're also a coffeehouse and they open at 8:00am. There's also a punch card in the app, after 10 beers you get the 11th one free. I gave my phone to the girl behind the bar so she could give me credit on the punch card and I said "minus the free one for downloading the app". She said "no, everything counts". So I get a free beer and it counts towards getting another free beer. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif] Of all the craft brewers in town, there are only 6 plus a restaurant that brews its own beer, this is the closest to where I live. I might have to go more often.

Mrs Rabz and I have, for many years, holidayed on various Pacific islands, particularly Vanuatu. Usually once a year but sometimes more often than that.

Since we moved interstate, we haven't been able to get our island time as regularly.

Yesterday, Toni booked a trip to Fiji in February.

It caused me to revisit my "List of Islands" that I have been to, as I will be adding at least one new one to the list.

Australia (It is an island you know) :)
