Good morning Linda.

When I went to the supermarket Wednesday, I forgot to bring my shopping list with me. I didn't have any pickles for my ham and cheese sandwich when I had lunch yesterday. :o Today's sandwich will also be pickle-less, I'm not making a special trip to the store just for a jar of pickles.

Good morning Linda and Larry! :)

Enjoy your girls gathering and the beach, Linda!

Larry - I have a jar of pickles here I can send ya. ;)

Had a nice time last night celebrating Cameron's best friend's graduation from the Denver Police Academy. He corrected me last night that he's been friends with these guys since the 8th grade. Kyle, Rick, and Cameron. :D

Today we're heading to Golden to a Marine Corps Celebration (Marines are 250 years old on Monday).
https://usmcmemorialfoundation.org/
"Join us at the United States Marine Corps Memorial in Golden for a powerful Veterans Day ceremony honoring Marines and all who have served our nation. This year’s event features guest speaker Jesse “Voodoo” Clay, USN (Ret.), a Navy SEAL and four-time world heavyweight Kumite champion whose story of discipline and service inspires all who hear it.
Experience a morning of remembrance and gratitude as we:
Present the Colors with Recruiting Station Denver
Hear the haunting beauty of “Going Home” performed on bagpipes
Witness a breathtaking flyover by the Rocky Mountain Renegades
Reflect during Taps, Amazing Grace, and a dove release honoring the fallen."

I'm watching a college football game, Brigham Young and Texas Tech. Brigham Young's quarterback is #47. I never saw a quarterback with a number in the 40s before. And his name is Bear. His first name, not his last name.

Today's ceremony at the Marine Corps Memorial was great. Flyover by the Rocky Mountain Renegades was awesome. Speeches were good. Had a man who played the bagpipes, and he was terrific.

Went to our friends' Jessie's "Jessie's Smokin' NOLA" restaurant for dinner. He used to have food truck every Friday at Lone Tree, and the food was great. I had a fried catfish sandwich/spicy fries and E had Gumbo and Red beans/rice. After all these years, it's STILL just as good!! :D

Off to watch the 3rd period of DU vs. Western Michigan (DU is winning 5-2). :D
