Good morning BN. I'm lazy enough as it it is, but Sunday is a day that I plan the least. I rarely start any projects today, but someday I will.

Good morning Bill and BN! :)

Today's agenda, go look at getting a new phone for me as the back of it seems to have become detached. I have the phone in a case, and I can press the back of it, and it snaps back when I do. Ugh.

Making breakfast soon, and when we get back from phone shopping, E will be making his chili, but with Bison meat, instead of just hamburger. :D

Maybe one load of laundry to add to the excitement.

Have a good Sunday!! :D

Good morning Bill and Penny.

It was 75 degrees yesterday and it's supposed to be 76 today, it's already 72. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 20 degrees cooler and there's a frost watch for tomorrow night. I guess today might be my last pantsless day.

We had a beautiful fall day here yesterday, it only got up to about 60° but it was sunny and windless and perfect for working in the yard. I filled up my yard waste bin and 5 extra bags with leaves (after 10 bags last week) and the the trees still are holding about half their leaves. The rain is coming back this evening and we might have yet another atmospheric river headed this way. After a fairly normal October (for rainfall), through the first week of November we've already had nearly 2X the total monthly average. It sounds like a pretty nasty Arctic Blast is headed for the other side of the country... hopefully it won't be a bad as they're projecting.
I got a COVID shot yesterday afternoon and my arm is a little sore today, but not bad. I got an RSV shot last week and my annual flu shot the week before, so I'm all caught up on vaccinations for the year.

Hey all !!

We were awake for early church today.

Kevin brought my large potted palm into the Carolina room since there’s a 40 degree warning tonight. I really need to repot “pail” but that will wait until the spring when the garden centers reopen. “Clara” is a plant I got from the judge when I retired from the county in 2022. She had a baby that I gave to daughter Bridget before we moved. She’s had another child (Clara that is) so she needs repotted as well. Seems like I’ll have a list of spring to-dos. We also put the garden hoses in the garage til the spring.

We spent 2 beautiful hrs at the beach.

I’m still sleeping 9 hrs at night and feeling tired which means my new thyroid med schedule as not yet kicked in.

I have an 8:00 am OT session ( not sure what I was thinking when I said ok to that time) but at least I’ll have the rest of the day for other “stuff”

I dread the thought of a new phone, so I do everything I can to avoid it!
On that note, does your phone feel at all warm to the touch? If so, it could be a battery issue. When they are starting to fail, they get warm and often swell - which could make the back pop off. Maybe a new battery will solve your problem, saving you from the new-phone hasssle!

I had nothing to do, the Giants and Jests don't get televised here, so I took a ride to the mall to see if the kiosk that sells calendars was set up yet so I could get my 2026 calendar. It isn't, but some Christmas decorations were up and I heard a few Christmas songs while I was walking around. I realize I'm Scrooge but 2 1/2 weeks before Thanksgiving is too early for Christmas decorations. 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas is too early for Christmas decorations.
