Good morning Bill!
Thank you to all of our Veterans.
Shovel? Ummm.. it's already 60 degrees here. It's SO unusual for Colorado.
Doing some laundry, and a few other chores today.

Good Morning Gang!
Thanking all of the veterans out there for their service!!
Sorry you have to shovel Bill. I'm waiting for the light dusting of snow still remaining to melt so I can get out there & do more RAKING of leaves.
What a mess

Taking a cue from the famous line in the Jaws movie, "Looks like I'm gonna need MANY more yard waste bags"
Enjoy your 11th day of November everyone!

Good morning.
It was 75 degrees two days ago. When I woke up this morning it was 31 degrees. On the 11:00 news last night they said we had snow flurries, the earliest snow ever in Myrtle Beach. The old record for the earliest snow was Nov. 12 back in 2013. That was a year after I moved here but I don't remember that snow. I remember getting snow in February the first 2 years I was here.

And we're ALMOST begging for some snow, Larry. We often have snow just before or on Halloween. Not this year. And the forecast isn't calling for any anytime soon.

Good Morning Everyone!
Another 9.5 hours of sleep for me again last night. Like Larry we had flurries last night but it lasted about 10 mins and didn't even hit the ground. Yesterday I walked on the beach around 11:00 with a girlfriend. It was sunny and a little "blustery" but not horribly cold.
We have a free schedule today -- I will go food shopping and Kevin will vacuum and clean our kitchen countertops. We have Pennsylvania guests that lived 2 miles from us coming for 2 nights. They are also PHs

. We met them (Pat & Tina -- a few of you have also met them) about 9 yrs ago through our daughter and then future son-in-law. They go to church where our son-in-laws dad is the pastor. Way back then Pat & Tina mentioned to Bridget that they were going to a JB concert in Philly. When she told them were we PHs as well..........and then rest is history

.

What's that they say about almost only counting in horseshoes and handgrenades?
(and atom bombs....)
"We just got hit with two feet of snow."
"Well, you almost didn't get any."

My Beer Of The Month Club delivery just got here. The UPS driver is wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt. It's 47 degrees.

You'd see that a lot here in CO.

Yup. I was with her. We drove 6 miles into town and back on nasty roads when she started a skid a quarter mile from home.
