Thursday @ the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Good Morning All !!

Off to PT, then Amazon return drop off, gas up the car, food shopping and then back home to replace one strand of Christmas lights that I put out yesterday (but will not be turned on until Dec 1).

Will also head to chair yoga at 3:30.

Have a fantastic day!

Good morning Linda, Debbie, and BN! :)

I have a haircut appointment at 3:30 today, otherwise I'm just going to start packing, sort of. Going to layout all the clothes, toiletries, and electronic things I'll be packing, then put it in suitcases tomorrow.

That's all I'm doing here today.

Have a good Thursday! :D

Good morning.

It's a little cooler than it was yesterday but it's still shorts weather.

I should probably start checking airfare for my Christmas in Las Vegas trip. I made my hotel reservation more than 6 months ago and I bought my ticket for the Dec. 23 Golden Knights game when they went on sale back in August. The plane ticket is the only thing left.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Hi there! Our day was spent with friends at breakfast and lunch. I massaged an aching shoulder of an 80 year old woman who hurt herself raking leaves. She had good muscle tone.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Indeed! We have a friend who was going to PT after hip replacement surgery.... they had her doing a side-to-side shuffle step exercise and she caught her foot on the carpeting and fell and broke her arm and wrist. :-?

Chair yoga is usually not a physical issue for me. But, I’ve only gone a few times since my surgery. Now that I’m brace-free I thought I’d head over today with my 2-lb hand weights. Ugh. I’ll soon be heading back to the gym as well.

I agree about PT!! After my back surgeries, I hate it. While I know it's good for my recovery, still...

Mr. SPH - that's TERRIBLE!!! :(

Evening, BNers!
Nothing going on here today... except laundry...
But I did just hear a pair of Great Horned Owls out in our woods, so that was exciting. :D

My dad was so good at barred owl calls, he brought 2 in while camping. I was 12 and super impressed as those magnificent birds visited with him by campfire light. I can call them close, but not like he could. For me, the owl is a spirit animal.

I also LOVE owls!!
The calls last night were so interesting... we see and hear Barred Owls all the time, but these two (they were going back and forth) were definitely different! I know we have Great Horned Owls in this area, so I assumed that the calls were theirs, but I checked with the Merlin App (and Google, when I came back inside) to be sure. Unfortunately, it was too dark out to see them.
