Good early morning gang. Out the door weather is a feels like -2 🙄
Didn’t participate yesterday in Nat’l cookie day but may
Join in for comfort food day today.
Have had Mac n cheese on my mind for the last week or so, that could be the ticket today. 😋 Attempt to warm the soul.

Good morning. I think beef stew with potatoes would be my comfort food for the winter. Maybe a cheeseburger for the summer. The high temp today in my town is 27...snow is coming tomorrow, I think. Phin power for E, Penny, and Cameron

Have a good friday everyone :D

Good morning gents.

It's a crappy day along the Grand Strand, it's been raining since I woke up this morning and the forecast is for it to continue most of the day. I was going to do laundry since I can't do anything outdoors but I decided to wait until tomorrow. My Beer Of The Month Club delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and I have to be here to sign for it so I might as well do laundry while I'm waiting for Mr. UPS to get here. HBO is rerunning The Sopranos, maybe I'll watch a couple of episodes to kill (no pun intended) time.

Hi there! We took an old friend to his cancer treatment. First five days of the month hegets an injection in the stomach.

Stuffed pepper soup or chili with a grilled cheese is comfort food these days.

Moog - Yikes! :o I am sorry to read about Raspy's bleeding issue. :-? You are right... poor Nicholas :(
I hope she gets to come home Come Monday...

Penny - I saw your FB footprint photo... can I assume the cane is for your gout?
With everything going on with E, I totally forgot to ask you how your toe was doing?

Things here are cold, but hey, it is December and it's Massachusetts, so, in other words, normal!
Cold is fine, I just pray for no precipitation Tues-Wed as Jim is having surgery on Wednesday - (probably early, but we won't know the time until Tuesday  ) - and the hospital is about an hour away. I REALLY do not want to add black ice to my already high anxiety...

We fixed the same problem. Anne had to be in surgery at 6AM in an Erie hospital over an hour away near Christmas. We stayed overnight at a hotel 3 miles away. It eliminated a lot of stress.

:D Nope, the cane is for balance because of neuropathy. Toe isn't getting worse, and I have the tiniest bit of improvement.

And.....

E IS HOME!!!!

His first appointment is on Monday with an oncologist/hematologist. And the doctor just so happens to be the same doctor I've been seeing for my phlebotomy. Which is good, cause I liked him.

I have suggested that... someone else is being - well, stubborn. :-? We won't know how early we need to be in Worcester until the day before, but it is a long procedure so we are assuming it will be early... I may still get my way!

Glad he’s home Penny! Plus the familiarity with the Doc nice bonus . Onward & hopefully upward for the hospital (E)scapee 😉
