Not much going on here, just another day of a LOT of sleeping for E. Co-worker coming over with some food, just don't know what yet. E doesn't have much of an appetite tho.
I hate this time of the year... sunrise was at 7:38 AM PST and sunset will be at 4:20 PM PST today.
That's 8+ hours of "daylight" and more than 15 hours of dark. (and rain and wind and cold....)
I can't wait for the winter solstice!
The problem is that the younger me didn’t think there’d be an older me and now the older me has a bunch of stuff to fix because the younger me was an idiot.

Good Morning gang!
Acknowledgment to a very important day in our history.
Light snow this early morning but the sun surprisingly has busted out. May even be able to use the leaf blower to take the snow off the decks.
Need to get some chores accomplished today after spending too much time watching college football games yesterday along with Michigan basketball. Could be some Christmas shopping, could be some household or maybe some office work. Only Time Will Tell
The college football playoff selection show comes on at Noon though so I’ll peek at that before carrying on about other business.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Dr. C - Thanks for the remembrance of today. Pearl Harbor is indeed a day that lives on in infamy. Sadly, it is also the date on which my M-i-L suffered a stroke in 1999, as well as when she eventually passed from another one in 2011.
Penny - Hope E's very caring co-workers bring something tasty to spike his (and your) appetite. Nourishment is important!

Good morning! Went into the big city for curling with friends. First time ever and didn't go too well. Now, I'm home doing some writing.
I've heard from a Canadian friend that the key to curling is to do it with a beer in hand - he said it was for balance!

So... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jerry!
A New England crumb muffin sounds like a wonderful B-day treat!
Thank you! The crumb muffin was very good, but barely lasted 5 minutes. Luckily, I have 3 more
They are from Wright's Bakery near Woonsocket (on the southern border w/ MA), if you were wondering.
Somehow, my response to this never posted yesterday...
YES, I was wondering! Woonsocket is just over the border from me, so which Wright's (there are several) has these delicious-sounding treats?
In Boston with... "this caribbean soul I can barely control and Long Island's always here in my heart"

I have a close friend who is from Woonsocket.... Woonsocket, South Dakota.

Don't they use a broom in curling? Then the key would be having a woman on the team, someone has to do the sweeping. running and hiding now

Bellingham, MA (my town) often gets confused for Bellingham, WA. Town Hall gets a ton of calls from people who are confused Some people also get confused and use Washington's website. A ton think, "When did Bellingham get so big?"
Jerry...from Massachusetts. I'd like to go where it's warm!

Kevin and his friend Scott went to a local brewery that had a Grateful Dead cover band. Kevin said they were great but the entire band was probably about 5 yrs old when there’s started making it big Kevin has been to 75 Dead shows. 3x as many as our JB shows. He dragged me to 7. I never “got” it.
I have an endoscopy tomorrow. Time to get my esophagus stretched first the 3rd time in 9 yrs.

The beer is only consumed by the curler... the sweeper does not imbibe, until it is HIS turn to glide the stone!
