Been up for about an hour. Doing a few things in the apartment, then off to the hospital again. Hope he's doing a little better today.

Morning, Penny. (((((((P & E)))))). Hoping Ron is feeling a bit better and you get good reports from the hospital staff.

Sunny this morning in Michigan. They say we may hit the mid 20’s today. I am enjoying the sun and have chores on the list today so the cold isn’t that big of a deal.

Think it is time for another cup of coffee first, though.

Good morning Penny and Mel, hope all is going well. We're supposed to get up to 8 inches of snow today! So far we've got just about 2 inches. It looks beautiful, but hopefully it stays fluffy/light.

Probably going to talk to friends today. Maybe bake another quiche for brunch. Have a great Sunday everyone

Good thoughts for E and Penny.

It's 64 degrees, tonight's low is supposed to be 19 with a wind chill of about 10. I thought I left weather like that behind when I moved south.

I'm expecting a package from FedEx. I just got a text message saying my package is out for delivery today, 12/15. Did I miss a day? I thought today was 12/14.

The community Christmas parade was really nice (glad we had good weather), the kids certainly enjoyed it. The golf carts, wagons, e-bikes, etc were decorated to the hilt. It was great to see so many people outside to watch.

Off to church soon and then we'll make a double batch of "toffee crack".

The laundry shelf is still parked up against the wall....

We've got clouds & rain drips so we're glad we got a 2-hr beach visit yesterday.

I'm sick. I am getting better. I had a fever yesterday that broke this AM. Good thing too, I had to shovel again.

I made 5 cheese balls yesterday after work. Today was spent doing laundry, baking the Orange Pecan Cookies and 2 batches of Magic Cookie Bars. We're making a menu and grocery list for the upcoming weekend when the kids are here for our Family Christmas Party. I'm making baked spaghetti, salad and garlic bread for dinner on Friday. They can have cereal and toast for breakfast Saturday and Monday. We'll have veggie tray, cheese balls, chips and dip for a snack after we get home from the hotel on Sunday. And for dinner on Sunday I'm making a ham, cheesy potatoes and deviled eggs.
There'll be lots of cookies and treats and hot cocoa and we'll let the kids open their gifts and stockings. They're going to leave some time on Monday so they can get back home for Christmas Eve. Short visit but SO much fun

The hockey game starts in less than 1/2 hour, I should have a beer to get primed.

Geez, Tammy! Would you please get busy?

Not a lot different today with E. He's sleeping a lot, as usual. But today he was grumpy, angry, and crabby. But PT came in, got him out of bed, stand, pivot, and sit in a recliner. That made him happy AND wore him out. He also was close to kidney failure, but the doesn't HAVE to have dialysis, but one of his docs said if they come and offer it, then don't say no.

I get crabby too in those thin gowns and blankets.

Yeah, I hate them and he hates them, too.. Especially when you have a needle in your neck.

Yup. And thank you. His Mom bought me a chicken Caesar salad at lunchtime, but they forgot to put a dressing packet, so I brought it home for dinner, and finished 2/3 of it.

I have bragged for years that I'd rather shovel heavy snow for an hour than push a mover for a half an hour.I have steep banks and shrubs that require a lot of maneuvering.

That brag is lessening these days.

Oh, and sorry to those with snow, cause it's odd for this in December for Colorado. It was 72 when I drove home from the hospital today.
