Ho Ho Ho
Just doesn't seem possible.

Found out last night my grandson's car was stolen this past weekend. Apparently his car conked out on the freeway. Don't know the timeline or specific details but when he went back to have it towed it was gone :o Don't know if it sat overnight on the freeway or if it was just a number of hours later. Granted it was an older car not worth more than a few thousand dollars but still.......was his work transportation.

Today we start "the big thaw" for 2 days before we go back to a flash freeze come Friday. Supposed to get a boat load of rain tomorrow as we near 50 degrees. Temp increase is welcomed, but it will get messy with the snow melt off & then it will probably be a challenge on the roads when it all the rain freezes Friday.

Oh, it is Nat'l Maple Syrup Day for those who enjoy their breakfast foods or other recipes that include it.

Enjoy your 17th day of December everyone!

Good morning, Ken! Sorry to hear about the grandson's car.

We're waiting for crazy winds here, more along the foothills of the mountains, but could be up to 90 mph. Closer to my part of town, in the 50 mph range. But still in the 60's for temperatures.

Hoping they will do E's surgery today. I wasn't pleased at the delays, then cancellation. :( And he's miserable.

Heading in early to beat some traffic, don't care if I have to sit in the parking garage.

And I'll take some of that maple syrup. :D

Good morning Ken and Penny.

Monday morning it was 21 degrees and the wind chill was 8 when I woke up. It's 55 degrees now, the high is supposed to be in the low 60s and it's supposed to be warmer tomorrow and Friday.

I hope they get E's surgery done today. Sounds like the doctors can't get their act together.

Why would you have to sit in the garage? Walk in like you just stole bathroom flowers!!

I went grocery shopping and used the self-checkout like I always do. I scanned all my items and was ready to pay when I got an error message on the screen. An employee had to come over and do her magic on the touch screen so I could pay for my order. When I got home I checked my receipt and my rice krispies didn't scan. I went back to the store to pay for them. The woman at the customer service desk thanked me for coming back. I told her it's almost Christmas and I'll be on a plane next week, I don't need any bad karma.

Hi there! Anne got sick very quickly yesterday and didn't go see Peter. He did another great show and our seats were center, 6 rows back. Promoting a charity his dad started, Peter auctioned 2 sets of backstage passes to a venue of choice. Bidding started at 500$.

There were a number of well-heeled parrotheads there. The bidding escalated by the hundred-dollar amount. Winning bid was 2100$. The second set went for that same amount.

It's officially Christmas season, I just saw the Corona commercial with the Christmas lights in the palm tree.

Good evening everyone...BN won't load on my computer, so couldn't reply earlier. Visited my friend today! Caught up on each other's lives over coffee. Watched the new episode of 'Fallout'. Has anyone here seen it?

Very excited for Christmas :D The village is up... maybe I'll send a picture to you guys another day.

Anyways, see you all tomorrow.

Wow. I missed most of today.

I feel a cold coming on so I am moving pretty slow but I dropped off an Amazon return and got to both our regular food stores.

I cancelled PT for tomorrow since I don’t feel 💯. Plus I don’t feel like my ulner nerve pain is getting much better even with the new fancy brace.

See y’all tomorrow 😊

Today surgery was supposed to be noon, ended up 1:30. Three stents instead of one (metal instead of plastic). Biopsy of pancreas, too. He had a hard time waking up from anesthesia and they had him on an oxygen mask, and he kept trying to pull it off. Nursing staff was AMAZING. Drove home with starburst lights in my eyes. Then did some of his leave/disability paperwork. I need help doing that, will call the amazing HR person that's been helping me with other stuff. My MIL and BIL are wonderful. Back in the morning, YAWN...
