Good morning Bill, and BN!
Up before my alarm AGAIN.

Doing a few things around the house before it's time to leave for the hospital again. Already tired of going there, as I know E is tired of being there.
Windy AGAIN today, but temps are reasonable. 50,60,70's this week.
Have a good Saturday!!

Good morning Penny and Bill! About 3/4 of Bellingham (MA) lost power. Trees down on the main throughway so no one's getting anywhere fast. Most of South Main Street is out of power, I think. Eversource says power comes back on the 21st...luckily I have power. The trees on the back edge of my neighbor's property sounded like they were on the verge of snapping. Thank god they didn't!
I also went to a Christmas party last night. I think I stayed a bit too late and got home around MIDNIGHT...and I wasn't famous

Now, I've got an itchy cough and it hurts to breathe in deep. Hopefully it's just a passing cold.
Sending phin power, good thoughts, and prayers to Penny.
Have a great Saturday, everyone

Good Morning Bill, Penny & Jerry!
Hello to all my BN friends.
Had dinner last evening with our best friends (who came here from our home-town in PA). They are vegans and I mean tow the line vegans

. Esther make delicious food -- huge stuffed peppers, a fresh salad, choc chip cookies (not for me) and some type of apple cake (delicious -- I brought home 2 pieces

).
"Our" painter (and his brother) are stopping by at noon to give us estimates for moving the puck light in our dining area as it centered on the sliding door rather than above our table. Sergio will do the ceiling repair/paint work and his brother (who we've not met) will do the electrical.
Kevin & I will then make batches of choc chip cookies, drop sand tarts, snickerdoodles and "Crack" Toffee mix. Gone are the days of my making 60 dox cookies (it doesn't help that I still feel "injured"). Our daughter made 37 doz this week so at least she's carrying on my 44 yr tradition
Have an amazing day !!

Hope so too !! Just be attentive -- there's a lot of RSV going around and that's really hard on adults.

I had stuffed peppers the other night! I make a very simple one with just ground beef and cheese in the peppers. Chocolate chip cookies sound wonderful
Will certainly take your advice on RSV...if it goes on for a few more days, I'll consider checking it out. Luckily it's very 'mild' right now. I can still breathe, which is a big pro
I do have a a small headache whenever I move around a lot (like dancing), so I'm going to take it easy today. Probably a good day for sketching. Working on a casino one right now!

We're on the way to pick up the centerpieces for the family party today. My daughter's family made it safely to Ohio yesterday. It's a busy weekend but so much fun
Thinking about you, Penny, E, Linda and Moogy!

Let me take the roll here...
Good morning Bill, Penny, Jerry, Linda and Tammy.
Finished packing yesterday, now I just have to wait until tomorrow to print my boarding pass and I'll be ready to go Monday morning. I won't need a winter coat this year, it was 33 degrees when I left for the airport last year but it's supposed to be in the 50s Monday.

update on our activity.....
No baking or cooking of any kind happened here. We had leftovers for lunch and will probably have more of the same for dinner. Or, I'll have breakfast and Kevin will have whatever.
I ordered a bunch of new tree decorations from AM so I pretty much redressed the entire tree. Most of what we had came along from PA and have been around for many years. It looks MUCH better now and Kevin can actually see all the blue ornaments. (Since he's red/green color blind he can't see any red on the tree - just looks like a bunch of light brown stuff).
I took a long walk around the community. Short sleeved shirt with lightweight gym pants worked just fine -- it was a beautiful day.
So long for today

.

Me 3!
I was thinking it was tomorrow - the 21st! Glad to be wrong as it can't start fast enough!
Much of our town is still without power. It is crazy considering National Grid had spent a lot of time over the summer trimming tress so they would NOT affect wires... I guess they missed some, and by "some" I mean a $hi+ ton!
Penny - Still sending my thoughts westward. I know this hospital thing is growing tedious for both of you... BTDT and it ain't fun! Any hint of when E can be released yet?
Larry - Safe travels! I'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures in Sin City!
Jerry - hope it was only a cold (
or too much carousing) and that you'll feel better by Christmas.
Linda - Your revamped tree-theme sounds nice! I do love
blue!

Unfortunately that won't be happening.. I said my goodbye's when I left today. He probably won't make it through the night, and I didn't want to watch him die. We always said, "I love you Mr. Ester", and he would say, "I love you Mrs. Ester". I said that tonight, and he replied the same. That was good enough for me.
Cameron said his goodbyes and thanked E for everything he did to help him over the years. E's reply was ALWAYS "Glad to do it", when Cameron was out of the room, his brother Mark ran after Cameron and told him he said that!
His organs (mostly liver and kidneys) are all failing. They removed the "pressers", which is what was keeping his BP high, because it was running dangerously low without them.
We'll see what happens overnight. I don't want to be here in our apartment, yet I feel the need to be here. At least his Mom and brother and I all agree on his treatment.
I started to make a list of all the things I need to in the next few weeks/months..
This sucks.
