I just saw this on a post by Jen. I'm shocked and saddened by E's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to ((((Penny))) and their families. I had the pleasure of being in Plant City when they got engaged. Great couple , great people. You will be missed by many, Ron. RIP my friend.

I woke today to the terrible news of the passing of our dear friend Ron.
For those that don't remember, I am Cubbie Bear, aka Bill Kuehn.
I am an old timer who drifted away from BN for that black hole known as Facebook. Ron and Penny were two of the first to make me feel at home when I stumbled upon this nut house so many years ago.
Over the years the "friends I never met" became sort of an obsession (just ask Cubbies Girl) Gradually through concerts and other trips the list of "friends I've met" grew and grew. Highlighted by a wonderful day long visit with Ron and Penny in Jupiter, Florida. Lunch at drinks at The Square Grouper and a ballgame featuring the class A affiliate of Ron's Cardinals. It was one of those days you wish would never end.
Alas. With time and multiple moves, multiple life changing occurrences I drifted away from the BN we used to love.
Ron, you were the best of us. How I wished I was at Susan's pool party when Ron proposed. I kick myself for letting your friendship lapse so badly. Penny. Know all the love and kindness I can muster are there for you. I missed you guys so much over the recent years. I am so deeply saddened by this news. I love you.
