Merry Christmas! I've got a fire (in the fireplace), right now by my Christmas tree, and it is like heaven. There's no snow left on the ground, though. Made Christmas cookies last night and I'm making apple pie today. Family is coming over and I'm making turkey..."Here We Are" would be a great song to play.

Probably just going to watch my favorite morning show until 8

Quiet morning here, but need to get the girl keet up and moving. We need to be on the road in 15 minutes to get to my cousins. She just tested me from upstairs saying she will meet me there .
Ahhhh to be young and able to stay up all night long again. She was rushing to finis up Santa’s wrapping I think.

I went to Guy Fieri's Flavortown restaurant for dinner last night, it's ridiculously overpriced. I only went because it's in the Horseshoe hotel, a Caesars property, and I had a $100 dining credit in my Caesars Rewards account so I ate for free. Well, not totally free, I left a tip. They're building a Flavortown back home, if they charge the same prices as here in Vegas it won't last long.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!

Sounds like a few are traveling and a few are at home today. My fever from the infusion broke yesterday afternoon. Felt good enough to get to church but sat in the back just in case. We had sirloin steak & some of the fresh caught shrimp for dinner and then watched the rest of our Christmas dvd stack .

I slept 9 hours and we had bacon & eggs for breakfast but now Kevin is saying his stomach feels "off". He's back on bed. I sure hope we don't need to move Christmas dinner to one of our guests' homes after I told them last evening I was well enough to host here......It's always sumthin'

I just saw a guy wearing a t-shirt that had a bear on the front. The bear was sitting at a table with a napkin around its neck, a knife in one front paw and a fork in the other. It said SEND MORE TOURISTS, THE LAST ONES WERE DELICIOUS.

I'm in a place called Beer Park in the Paris hotel. A guy just came in and took the last seat at the bar, it's next to me. He's dipping snuff.

It’s 73 degrees.

I just got carded on my way into a bar. Not ordering a beer, walking through the door.

We were supposed to go to our youngest daughter's house for dinner, but Bryan has been feeling crappy since Monday and I started feeling crappy yesterday. No fever, but headache, congestion, runny nose, sneezing and coughing. At least we're both off work until Monday.
