So you say it’s SATURDAY @ the MSC

Happy day after the day after Christmas everyone.
As what tends to happen with the “Christmas Break”, especially when the holiday falls on a weekday, seems you need to have to take a minute to figure out exactly what day of the week it actually is, with some pholks going back to work while others continuing to have extra time off

. Of course the retired peeps, well their routine may hardly be affected.
Today will be our Christmas family gathering which includes my son & his wife and my daughter & her kids which total 8 of us. Well really 9 counting my sons little Bull Terrier who gets the full family “Kid” treatment over there.
Simple finger food will be the order of the day.
Hope everyone enjoys their day, whichever day it may be

Good morning, Ken. Your day sounds nice. We go to a friend's place for a football game party. I care only about the food.

Good morning Ken, Bill, and whoever wanders in! There's about 3 inches of snow here in Massachusetts. It looks very beautiful and I hope rain doesn't come anytime soon.
I still have to drop off gifts to my neighbors, but I'm too lazy today. I think I'll do more blogging.
Have a great Saturday, everyone!

Morning Kids!!!
Debating leaving the house this morning to see if I can snag clearance ribbon for next year. However, coffee and watching out the window is providing enough enjoyment that I may continue it for a while longer.
Nothing on the agenda today other than trying to remember what day of the week it is (Saturday if my math is correct). They say we may get some snow tomorrow—never really sure with all the hype that seems to surround weather guessing nowadays.
Enjoy your day, everyone! Finger foods and football always sounds like fun!

Good morning Ken, Bill, Jerry, and Mel!!
Next door neighbor is coming over this morning to retrieve extra food I don't need or want.
My bonus sons are coming over with Cameron for a hug or two. (they've been friends for about 25 years)
Enjoy your day, Ken! Sounds wonderful to me.
That's all I have at the moment.

Good morning. Finally home, and exhausted. This taking the red-eye home isn't as easy as it was when I was a youngster. My flight was 10:30 last night, 1:30am eastern time. Landed in Charlotte at 5:30 and some flights were cancelled, I guess because of the snow in the northeast, and several others were delayed, they were slammed with fog in Charlotte. I had 2 1/2 hours before my connecting flight so no problems for me, the fog was gone by time we were ready to board.

Good afternoon all. Spent the morning scraping ice off of two cars. Picked up daughter and grand daughter at air port.
They were supposed to be home last night but flights kept getting cancelled.

Penny, those look awesome!
I think I have a very mild degree of frostbite after shoveling the sidewalk. I should've used my neighbor's snowblower, but here we are.

I went through 2 tubs of photo albums that the cleaning crew found at my dad's house. Unfortunately they weren't the old black and white photos from when I was a little girl. Mostly vacation pics of places they went to after I was grown and out of the house. I'm hopeful that they will find the pictures I'm looking for.
Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

We got home a little while ago from 2.5 hrs on the beach. We both wore shorts & t-shirts -- it was too hot

.
Now home and getting ready for some TG day thawed out leftovers.
I got my newest (Dec 23) Thyroid blood work test results. Both # are still too high, although the one came down a little bit. This is with alternating .88 & .10 mcg of Synthroid. "Kevin says"....I should see an endocrinologist since this has been a mess since we moved here. It seems to take forever to get specialist appts so may be months till this can get resolved.....sigh.....
Today my wrists & fingers are bothered from the IV infusion.......sheshhhhhhh.

We have a couple of hot days in the offing.
I rose early and chipped out about a 10 square yard patch of weeds that were all about to flower. Got it done by about 9am and the mercury had already hit 87°F.
Forecast is for 100°F but it will soar past that mark, even more so tomorrow.
Time to batten down and stay out of the heat!
Did someone say, crank the A/C and chill the rosé? I don't mind if I do!
