Hey Folks!
Nothing exciting at Carolina Cabana today -- Painter Sergio will come back to sand the spot from the old ceiling fixture (which will be dusty).
I'm heading to the library this afternoon for a "flavor it up" session. This month is cauliflower.
We sent the last disbursement to Kevin's sister today from the inheritance from mom. We had to do it in "pieces" to avoid us paying gift tax on it.
We have $2,000 in reserve in case any bills come in -- all providers have one yr from date of death but the ins company told us that anything outstanding would be covered 100% but we just want to make sure .

Good morning.
I went to one of our local breweries for lunch yesterday. It wasn't busy, one other guy at the bar and a couple of people sitting outside because it was a pretty nice day. The other guy, the bartender and I were chatting and somehow birthdays came up. The guy said his birthday was in July and the bartender said her's was in July too, she'll be 25 this year. I was wearing my Buffett Havana Daydreamin' tour t-shirt from 1997. I told the bartender my t-shirt was older than she is.

It's not uncommon for people who have had cataract surgery. And it takes just a few minutes to correct:
Target: A YAG laser uses a precise, high-energy pulse to create a tiny opening in the cloudy posterior capsule of the eye.
Mechanism: This process, called photodisruption, forms a plasma bubble that precisely cuts the tissue without damaging surrounding structures.
Result: Light can now pass through the new opening, restoring sharp vision.
Procedure (YAG Capsulotomy) Preparation: Eye drops dilate the pupil and numb the eye.
During: You sit at a machine, and the doctor uses the laser to make a small hole in the cloudy capsule, a process taking only a few minutes.
After: Vision often improves within hours, though it can take up to 24 hours to fully clear; antibiotic drops are usually prescribed for about a week.

Do you cook while there, or just exchange recipes?

I love it when I can do that.

Hi there! I worked out for an hour, and my weight was up a pound from Friday. We are eating early lunch because of a teeth cleaning. No onions or garlic at lunch. Rats.

Good afternoon, everyone!
I've got nothing to do, so I guess I'll just watch TV today...
Have a great Tuesday

Stoopid cat! A fleece jacket was low enough on the coat rack that he could reach it and chew it! He chews elastic on shoes, my jeans and zippers. He chewed the jacket zipper in minutes, ruining it.

He'll learn his lesson someday.

Hope you get a good answer/solution for those "starbursts"...
and "moving"?! Are you fast-tracking your exodus to the Gulf, or is this different?

Nope. The Gulf is out. I'm staying in the same apartment complex, just a smaller apartment (this is a 3 bedroom, and I can't afford that).

My plan is to have the surgery in May at this point. Work will slow back down, Lynn will have time to chauffeur me around & hopefully brothers situation will be improved & less stressful
