And if I don't die by Thursday, I'll be roarin' Friday night at the MSC

Morning kids!

It’s a long title but was the only Buffett lyric I could think of that mentioned Thursday 😁

Not gonna lie—this getting up every day for work is starting to get old. Maybe there is something to consider about retirement….

It is warmish here; might get close to 50 they say. Maybe I will tackle the left over ice/slush at the end of the driveway when I get home from work today. Really was hoping Mother Nature would do a better job of it.

Enjoy the day, all! Can’t wait to read what I should be celebrating once Linda posts it for us 😀

Good morning Mel and BN!

Supposed to get some snow today, but it hasn't quite started in my area of town. Not calling for much, tho. Could use the moisture, but I'd rather have rain.

Going to join some Kindred folks for lunch today. I'll go in a little early to say hello to some people.

This afternoon I have a bone density test. Hopefully it'll go better than the blood draw that never happened yesterday. My doctors office didn't send in the orders.

Have a good Thursday!

Good morning Mel, Penny and Linda.

I'm glad I didn't have anything to do earlier this morning, we had some really dense fog but most of it has burned off. Maybe I'll go for a leisurely stroll in the park later, it's supposed to be about 65 degrees.

Good Morning everyone!

I see 34 bots this morning ......

We LOVE the new dining light. BUT THERE'S SO MUCH DRYWALL DUST from that 8" hole from the puck light :(. I should have waited to put any decor out after Christmas was packed away. Didn't think that through. So we will spend A LOT of time today cleaning.

Other than food shopping & cleaning is chair yoga @ 3pm.

Enjoy your day...whatever you've got going on.

:( This is the 3rd one I've had, and so far no red flags.

Good Morning Gang!

Looking at Mr. Blue Sky out there. I'll take it.
Trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on purchasing Peter Wolf concert tickets. To expand on that for those that don't know, he was the lead singer & frontman extraordinaire for the J.Geils Band. Dude is rolling up on 80 years old soon :o Venue holds approximately 1,500-2,000 so a somewhat intimate setting. We shall see.

If my memory isn't totally gone, I think Peter Wolf used to be married to Faye Dunaway.

We're stuck in a rut here, grey skies and rain with daytime temps in the low 40s and nighttime in the low 30s. We actually had a warning about the potential for overnight snow, but that didn't happen (yay!)...

And just for DrC...

"Nobody works on Friday"
Nobody works on Friday
Thursday night comes in hot
A little less work, make the same pay
Now I’m givin’ it all I’ve got

Good afternoon, everyone! It's almost FRIDAY :D

I went for walk today and my shoes got drenched. I jumped off the sidewalk since some guy decided to drive right into a puddle. Speaking of puddles...all the snow is melting! It'll be icy all next week, unfortunately.

Have a wonderful Friday's Eve :D :D :D

We did all the housecleaning to get rid of the drywall sanding dust. While the floors dried we spent an hour at the beach. It was chilly - glad we carried 2 beach towels with our chairs. I got a good walk in but on the way back I was facing the wind so a little brrrr.

Skipped chair yoga & food shopping for the beach (don't judge :))

It's a quarter to nine in the morning.

Already way over 100°F. The forecast severe winds are just kicking in. Fire weather warnings for the S and SE of the country, think of an area that covers CA across to FL up to DE and all places in between...

Battening down as we speak!

Tomorrow's forecast is for low 80's. *shrug*

Golly, so much medical stuff going on with everyone. A bif round of hugs, love, and luck headed for best possible test/procedure results for all.

It was a glorious sunny day today. My whole mood was better, and the dog and I got in some ball playing outside. Tackled the stubborn ice d*m at the apron of the drive. I had tire tracks before the drive got plowed which iced over to about a two inch mass. Slowly chipping away at it. Maybe Saturday I can get back to it if the temps hold.

I had to go peek at the National Day Calendar and learned in addition to National Bubble Bath Day it is also National English Toffee, Winter Skin, and National Argyle Day.

Bummed I didn’t wear my MSU Spartan argyle socks today.

Nope. All issues here are strictly mine.
