I did a bit too much yesterday (tho worth it) that today I'm pretty sore, so I'll take it a little easier. I think I'll start packing for the trip to OK on Thursday.
And I'll make a stop at the grocery store for a few things.

Good Morning Penny -- and hello to all others who stop by later.
We have some rain this morning but it will probably clear out shortly. We might make it to the 10:45 church service. Neighbors are stopping by at 6 and we'll probably play a few rounds of Sequence.
Jerk Chicken Thighs on the menu for tonight's dinner.
We woke up to a dusting of snow Bryan made breakfast and I have laundry to do today. Not much else going on. Things are still moving slowly at my dad's house. We're hoping it will be completed by the end of the week. Then we can have the auction and list the house for sale.
Have a good day everyone.
Well, this is NOT fun.. I went to start E's car, and it kept trying over and over (even tho I took my foot off the brake and start button), then a small amount of smoke started coming from the engine area. It seems as if it's the starter, but I can't do anything about it until tomorrow.. I'll just have to use MY car to drive up to get the death certificate. I do NOT need this right now.

(((Penny)))) The only thing worse than car issues on Sunday is when it happens in winter.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Good afternoon. It's very windy today, glad I wore a hat when I went out so my hair didn't get messed up.
There's a softball tournament in the park. Depending on the field they're playing on and the direction the wind is blowing, some balls are going to be flying over the fence.
Hi there! Anne enjoys a hot mocha at McD's most every day, so I started shoveling out the 4 inches that fell since dawn. In the half hour I worked, it snowed another half inch and it's windy. Mocha was cancelled.

I think we got maybe about 3 inches of snow overnight? Super windy this morning, but it was easy showering. Sun has been out most of the afternoon, so the driveway is almost clear and dry.
Been half debating running out to the store to pick up something for dinner. I have turned into my parents and have an ingredient household. Thatās great when I am motivated, but really is not fun when I want processed low nutrition junk food. Probably settle for a bowl of soup and maybe some fruit and yogurt. Meh.
On the upside, the sun coming through the front window sure has been nice today.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Hope your car situation is an easy fix Penny
My cousins husband passed away 2 weeks ago & the day after the funeral her basement flooded. Donāt know the extent but fortunately she had her daughter & son in law to help with the situation, she commented when it rains it pours. How accurate. They also were scheduled to go to Hawaii for a bucket list trip in 3 weeks.

Not sure how the snow affected your showering but glad it did!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!

Maybe showering was supposed to be shoveling?
Probably, but it still gave me a chuckle.
Oh no doubt it was shoveling but MJ donāt mind a little ribbing. Plus frickin spell check of AI or whatever constantly changes what you attempt to say. I just posted the word bucket list & it wanted to switch out to buckeye
