Good morning BN. I listen to quiet tunes before bed and Creola is one of them. I also like all the Cajun dishes.

I love Cajun food, too. To be honest, I am a bit of a glutton
Safe travels, Penny and family.

Slow start to the day for me. Got out of bed about 3:30 when I had finally had enough of the tossing and turning. Just started a pot of chicken soup; figured that would taste good as the wind continues to howl and temps plummet.
I need to venture out for a few groceries and to get gas before we end up with double digit negative temps. That requires me getting off the couch, though. Maybe in a bit
Stay warm and safe all. I guess in Rabbitz’ case it is stay cool…

Good morning.
Last week they were saying there was a slight chance we would get snow today. The temperature's in the mid 40s so no snow but it's been raining pretty much all morning. Today will be a do nothing day. I should check to see if there's a hockey game on tv. The Hurricanes played Friday and yesterday so no game on the local cable sports channel, maybe the NHL Network has an out of market game.

Mother Nature is messin' with us here, we've had a couple of beautiful Spring-ish days... in the middle of January!
I worked in the yard all day yesterday and probably will do so again today and maybe tomorrow. We're not 'sposed to see any rain until Friday, but we'll see how that goes.
Safe travels, MsMod....

Hey everyone.
We’ve got the same weather as Larry. Drizzle/downpourx3.

.
We went to late church service, came home, changed into our “comfy” clothes (we wear jeans to church so that means sweats) and then had lunch. Just finished the new Landman episode.
Mushroom stroganoff for dinner. Until then I’ll just veg in the sofa since I’m still in a constant state of lagging (last night was “only” a 10 hr sleep session).
I want to feel better.

Great win for the Patriots...a few too many fumbles for me, though. Calling it early: 16 to 28
Broncos v. Patriots will be interesting!

The cleaning crew is finally done with the hoard at my dad's house. They found a live tear gas grenade and 2 tear gas canisters so now we're going to have to contact the police to come and dispose of it. Next we will contact an auctioneer to get the tools, over 50 fishing rods and I don't know how much tackle, 2 boats, and 2 vehicles sold. My older brothers kids are still refusing to sign the paperwork so I can start selling things and the house so I honestly have no idea how long this will put us behind.... they're just being difficult to spite me.
I'm going for a hearing test in 2 weeks (hearing loss and tinnitus), then my annual eye exam (I'm experiencing double vision) and then I have surgery on 2/20...

(((Tammy))) I had a disaster with my dad's house, but you have it worse. Unfortunately, fishing rods bring pennies on the dollar, but the boats will sell, especially closer to spring. Good luck with your eyes, kid

Dang Tammy, wanna say if it wasn’t for bad luck you’d have no luck at all…..but me thinks you’ll forge ahead & get through.

Tammy, I'm sorry you're having such problematic relatives.. I see no reason for it, personally.

And I hope they realize you're doing all the work - unless they've like to participate!?
And the tinnitus, yeah. Me too. Some days are worse than others. Keeping good thoughts.

Thanks everyone for all the positive vibes...they really can't stop me, but they can slow us down. We're going to have to file a complaint with the court and they will have 30 days to respond back to the court before the judge will rule in my favor and allow me to proceed with the sale. And in the meantime we still have to pay insurance for the house, property taxes, utilities etc.
