I am finally back home. Still empty without E, and it was a LONG weekend..Cameron, Sarah, and I are exhausted. I'm SO glad that my BIL picked us up so I didn't have to drive home so late.
I have a much needed haircut at 10:00, and then a blood draw at 10:45... 10 minutes from one place to another. Then to start laundry. I'm glad both Sarah and Cameron don't have to work tomorrow.
Hope you have a good Monday!!

Good morning Penny and Ken!
Penny - glad you are home. Make sure to get some rest, too. And stay hydrated!
There's about four or five inches of snow right now. All the tree branches are sagging. Hopefully blue skies and sunshine, today. Sad loss for the Bears.
Have a great Monday, everyone.

Morning, Kids!
Like others have said, take care of you, Penny. Sounds like a lower key day with some rest is just what you need today.
Snowy and cold here. Have the day off because of the holiday; getting anxious as Keet is supposed to drive back to college today. Kinda hoping she decides to go tomorrow when hopefully roads will be better. She is scheduled to drive west where they are under a winter weather warning. My other Keet will be driving to work this afternoon. His commute is usually 25 minutes, but I am sure it will be longer with the roads. He gets double time for holidays, so he will definitely be going. You always worry about them, regardless of their age.
Not much planned for me today. I usually spend MLK day in community service. I got so wrapped up in just surviving January that I missed the sign up window. I guess I will continue to go through and organize cupboards and closets that have been storing things I don’t necessarily want or need. It is amazing how much you accumulate when you just don’t want to deal with it.
Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning. Another chilly day on the coast of Carolina.
The Hurricanes have a game at 1:30. I have a dentist appointment at 1:30. I'll have to set the DVR so I don't miss anything.

Good morning gang. I had blueberry crepes and bacon for breakfast. That may be the highlight today. We had to cancel a Geek Squad appointment in Erie. The roads are snow covered with squalls predicted.
An 82 year old acquaintance travels often and he is flying to Key West this weekend........maybe. It's only 300$ round flight from Akron, but they cancel half the flights according to what I heard.

We went to the gym for the 1st time this year. I only used the treadmill bc of my ulner nerve pain . I'm anxiously for my dr appt at 4 tomorrow.....I want answers !!!!
The kids (there are 8 of them from 10 mo. -15 yrs) across the street gave us quite a show yesterday. The back of the adult woman's (can't really call her a mom) SUV is always packed full of snacks & water bottles in Costco size containers. Since the car is usually unlocked the kids go in and out of it at will. Yesterday they dragged a case of water bottles out and left it on the driveway. When she pulled out she backed over it. Stopped for a second and then drove off. The bottles were popped open and laying all over the road. Shortly after that one of the kids broke the screen out of one of the 2nd story windows and the smallest kids (between 3-4) were standing on something throwing shoes & boots out the window (while hanging overthe window sill).
Mom returned & picked up the water bottles. The boots are still on the driveway.....

The hockey game's over, the Hurricanes won and I'm going to have a beer to celebrate.
Their 27 year old rookie goalie is the first goalie in history to win 18 of the first 22 games of his career.
