Good morning all!
I'm liking the fact that our favorite liquor store delivers my adult beverage bottles.
Going slow again today. Piddly stuff, but being nice to my body. Things are just kinda sore.
Hope you all have a good Wednesday!

Hello friends!
Seems a lot of folks will be getting a lot of snow (what a horrible 4-letter word). Our kids in PA are looking at a potential 15".
After PCP visit yesterday I am now stopping my thyroid med for the first time in 23 yrs. Apparently HYPOthyroidism can affect red & white blood cells. I'm also severely anemic right now so Im starting an iron supplement today (hopefully that will help me have my energy). I have more blood work scheduled in 2-wks then a visit with the PCP a week later. PCP is also referring me to an Endocrinologist (which is the specialist that I started with 23 yrs ago).
I asked if the crazy thyroid issue could be a side affect of the Recast infusion (he said "possibly" - another reason for me to switch to the original request for Prolia that the ins co denied).
I've got nothing on my schedule today - Kevin is headed to the dentist at 10 - he thinks a small piece of a filling broke off on Sunday.

That's a lot going on, Linda. I hope you get MORE answers than what you have so far.

Good morning Penny and Linda.
Mr. Weatherman better be right about the storm for this weekend. I cancelled my hotel reservation last night and listed my ticket to the hockey game for sale on Ticketmaster. It's 3rd row off the ice and I'm asking for 10% below face value so maybe someone will jump on it.

Good idea, ladies..... it's a good day to just take it easy!
I'd like to go where the pace of life's slow
Could you beam me somewhere, Mister Scott?
Any old place here on earth or in space
You pick the century and I'll pick the spot
Oh I know (I know) I should be leaving this climate
I got a verse but can't rhyme it
I gotta go where it's warm
I don't remember this one:
We have a pretty mild week ahead of us here in the Upper LH Corner....

Good afternoon everyone! A bit of writing is on the schedule for today. For some reason, I only write at 8pm.
From Friday onward, all the highs are below freezing. The lows are single digits! And we're getting snow Sunday and Monday.
Have a great day everyone

Hi Kids!
I put a round of Boat Drinks on my BOBH card, so belly up and tell the barkeep what you would like. Today it was a balmy almost 30 degrees. We also got close to four inches of snow that made the roads a nice mess all day long. Off course I was on them most of the day as I had scheduled several meetings or trainings at various schools across the county. Got my fill of back roads snowy driving in for a while. We are now under an "Extreme Cold Watch" starting early Friday morning. I guess our wind chills could be -25 or colder. Look out east coasters--it will be freezing its way to you a few days later. I have also read that another snowstorm may be on the horizon for Sunday. As a school employee, I like the potential for a 4 day weekend....
Linda, I hope you get more answers and am glad you are starting to get a plan in place that may finally help you out. You have been suffering for a long time, and that totally does not seem to fit your personality. Penny, glad you are taking care of you. It is a huge change, but you continue to face it with humor, grace, and authenticity. I so love that about you.
Sorry your plans changed, Larry, and I hope you can off the ticket easily. Rabbitz may need to share some of that warm with us if these cold snaps continue. I have always enjoyed new snow and sunny days as it is beautiful. But I am pretty much over the cold weather.
Gonna enjoy a Vernor's and Captain Morgan and hopefully warm up my toes. In and out of the car all day while brushing snow off my car in dress boots caused them to become wet and cold. Another reason to go where it's warm. Totally need to be leaving this climate.....

I'd love a boat drink. I had milk and cookies instead.

It seems like MA will be getting 5 or more inches (some maps show 1 foot).

Now back to the regularly scheduled response...
Penny - glad you are taking it slow...
Linda- that is a LOT going on indeed... I really hope your PCP can get to the bottom of what's happening.
Larry - Oh, MAN... those are great seats. Mother Nature really messed you up on this.

So today our neighbor, Tyler, stopped by to see how I'm doing. He's been checking on me via texts or a knock on the door. He stopped by earlier today and I gave him several bottles of bourbon (I don't drink it), and he was thrilled! One of the bottles was one he's been looking for almost 6 years. (Said it was the best he'd ever had, and it gave him goosebumps). So, he stopped by a little while ago, and said he noticed there weren't any flowers on the table. I'm so glad WE had him as a neighbor. E liked him, too!!

Well, mostly.. I did clean out SOME of the room we keep booze locked up in (because of Cameron). Got about 1/3 of it emptied. Lots more to go. I just need to find a place that takes O2, CO2, and other tanks that E used for beer making, diving, and such.

Take the dive stuff to your local diveshop - they can look after them and can usually sell them on consignment. We used to do it all the time in all the diveshops I have worked in.
The brewing stuff take to the brew supplies place - they may be able to help.
