Good morning all!

Keeping inside today, as it's the start of very cold weather through Monday. Not much dragging stuff up to the dumpster. So I'll continue to just go through stuff and keep organizing.

Hope you have a great Thursday! :)

Good morning, Penny. I shoveled a fast 15 minutes to make an early hospital appointment. We had deer jump down a high bank in the dark on the way to town which put us on edge, but the rest of the day went smoothly.

Good morning Penny and Bill.

With the bad weather that's forecast for Saturday and Sunday we're getting a bit of a break today. It's 61 degrees. It's supposed to be close to 60 again tomorrow, then down to the 30s for about a week.

Another great video, Mr. SPH. Thank you. :)

So I took a run to the grocery store - just for a few things. It was packed with "Oh there might be some snow" people.

Good afternoon everyone! Just made some chocolate covered pretzels. I am also munching on a lemon loaf while I wait to see the forecast on TV. Everyone else's seems to change daily, but MA will still get about a foot of snow.

They seem to be backing off ice-pocalypse a little. On the 5:00 news Mr. Weatherguy said the worst of the freezing rain/sleet/ice will be north and west of I-95. I-95 is about 65 miles west of here. The new forecast is for no more than 1/10 of an inch of whatever combination of precipitation will fall along the coast. That's bad if you have to drive but I'll be staying home so no problem for me.

They keep mentioning the ice storm of 2014, that was my second winter here. We had about an inch of snow, then rain, then ice. I had saved my ice scraper when I moved from the Island of Long so I thought I'd go scrap everything off my car. Bad choice. My car was a solid sheet of ice and I couldn't get the trunk open to get the ice scraper. I went back inside and decided to let the ice melt on its own. I had enough food and beer for a few days so I didn't care that I couldn't drive anywhere.

Hi Kids!

Tickled pink as my school district is closed tomorrow due to extreme cold weather. I know I am spoiled working in education, but I am so ready for a day away from work responsibilities. It just seems like everything (and most everyone) is on fire, so maybe this cold weather and a day away from each other will help...

It was another snowy day which made driving rather adventurous. So many accidents everywhere! I was glad to get home. Winter driving is not my favorite sport anymore.

Tomorrow's plan now includes laundry and maybe some more organizing and purging items that have been in storage for years. Penny has somewhat motivated me to keep downsizing and parting with things that I won't use, and the kids most likely don't want. I foresee a few boxes of things being donated and a few garbage bags of things headed to the curb.

Stay warm everyone!

It was beautiful here today... darn near 50° so I took advantage of that by clearing the last of the now melting plow-line ice out of the street at the end of our driveway, in preparation for the weekend's snowmageddon (or not, who knows  ) in between laundry loads. I felt very productive!

Penny - As per your post yesterday... I never knew E dove! He really have varied interests! :) Our local recycling center takes all sorts of tanks, but I think they prefer empty. Maybe you can sell the full ones to an interested diver and/or brewer rather than waste the contents.

Larry - yeah, I learned to NOT keep a scraper in the trunk for that very reason.

Mr. SPH - I have always loved this one, but even more so as I have grown older!

I'm hoping that our neighbor Tyler, who offered to deal with anything I want to sell, can do this for me. There's a whole set of diving equipment and tank, along with the brewing tanks. Everything is empty, tho.

E loved diving. He spent over 2 weeks in Key West, one of those weeks was working at the dive shop. He also did the same for a week in Cozumel, before we met. :)

Yup, they are very yummy! They're cooling in the fridge right now. I plan on making more tomorrow!

Now, the updated forecast says 12 to 18 inches for Bellingham. By the time all the forecasts are fine-tuned, the storm will have already passed
