Good morning BN. I miss the PHlockings with all the hugs and handshakes, food, drinks, music and laughter. Oh wait, the cafe is here and open.

Good morning Bill. It's a little warmer today, the temperature is already above freezing. But they're just teasing us, the forecast is for snow Saturday.

Hey guys (and gals yet to visit) !!

I love seeing the sun, even if it is a little "chilly" outside. I logged 10.15 hours of sleep last night. I had a 9:15 blood draw appt. I got there at 9:04 and was out by 9:20.

We'll head to church this evening for a light dinner with the other folks that have joined our Wednesday night group meetings.

Kevin & Scott get together soon for more Better Call Saul or El Camino or Breaking Bad. While that happens I'm going out with a neighbor girlfriend for no other reason than to get out. This health business (and the pain) is really affecting my head. If I didn't have that appt this morning I would probably still be in my "lounge clothes" with no plans of getting dressed/brushing teeth etc. I need answers & I want them NOW

Good morning Bill, Larry, and Linda!

Off to the DMV in a few hours to (Hopefully) get E's car title put in my name. I think I have all of the paperwork for it. On the way back home, I'm stopping at UPS to ship many of E's Marine Corps Challenge Coins to one of his Marine buddies who came to the funeral in Oklahoma.

Linda, I hope you DO get answers soon. :-?

And I read it earlier - but Ken (Dr. Corona) posted on FB that his brother passed away last night. :( :(

Sorry to hear about Ken's brother. Condolences to the family.

I got a late start this morning, then I wasted time after I got back from grocery shopping. I'm having a very late lunch (or very early dinner) at Bohemian Bull. Wednesday is 1/2 price burger day, and the beer is as cold as the weather. 🍔 🍻

After 14 day with no precipitation, Mother Nature started dumping on us last night and it looks like we're gonna get wet for the next few days.
At least it ain't sticking and I don't have to shovel it....

So, I got E's car in my name now. I had a form they needed me to fill out, then get notarized (they should have one at the DMV), so I drove back near home, went to UPS (had to ship some Marine coins to a guy who went to the funeral and was in the Corps with E), they had a notary there, then drove back to the DMV (10 minute drive), and the gal told me to come straight to her window, no waiting. And we got it all done. :)

They have something called the getting smashed burger. It's 2 patties, American cheese, pickles, onions and burger sauce. I always skip the burger sauce and ask for ketchup instead. The burger sauce is thousand island dressing. I don't want thousand island dressing on my burger.

Nice some things are going smoothly, Penny.

Larry probably much better than mine. The local diner switches up a burger withtoday serving a Midwest burger.I asked the young waitress what made the geographic definition. She winced as she said it was a burger with thin ham and cheese and barb b que sauce, but she made a face as she talked. I joked that wasn't a selling point and got it anyway because it came with a cuo of good soup.

Greetings from frigid MA! [smilie=shake.gif]
Our son in Tampa texted us, and his sister, that he got a freezing-weather alert on his phone!
I got back to him and said if his sister and I added our temperatures together and then multiplied that sum by 2... Tampa was still warmer - so stop complaining!

Penny - I am sure the recipient of E's Marine coins will be very appreciative! What a nice gesture to send them!
I am glad you had a good experience at the DMV. Maybe it was the good karma from those coins at work!
I will say that the NY DMV was very understanding back in 2010 when I sold my Dad's car as the executor of his will to a neighbor. He used to give her rides all the time because she did not have one, so I think he would have approved the sale.

Sorry to read about Ken's brother's passing... am I recalling correctly that he had been quite ill? Still sucks, tho.

Linda - I really hope you get some answers to you pain and then some relief SOON!

Mr. SPH another excellent video - THANKS!

I'd probably try the sauce, only because I like a similar sauce on the Big Mac. :) Skip my onions.. ;)

Thanks, Bill. I'm glad this one did, and it was a biggie. So, how was the burger?? :)

I'll take it as good Karma... ;) E would have been happy that I did this.

It was edible, but I wouldn't get it again. Say, are you selling one of the cars? I kept a Jeep Cherokee after getting a small car and that Jeep then gave me failure after failure.

Yes, I'm selling/trading in E's Ford Escape. I'm just wanting something a LITTLE smaller, and not a Ford. Looking at a Chevy Trax. I'm selling my Chevy Cruz to Cameron/his girl.

Thanking BN for the well wishes & condolences from yesterday regarding the passing of my 61 year old brother. A kind & special soul who deserved a better fate in life (as many do), but thankfully maybe enjoyed most of his last five years more than he had since his childhood.
