Good morning all!

Taking some excess beach towels to the Animal Shelter this morning, then up to get E's urn.

Will use the wagon to bring the stuff to my car AND to dump some more stuff.

Have a good Thursday!!

Hi there! I slept in my easy chair and will for a while. The leg ached a lot, but seems better.

Some good news. My PHriend, Bern got us tickets to Zach Brown.

Very glad to hear that, Bill! :) Don't overdo anything, even if you feel better. :)

Good morning. Some strange weather today, it was 40 degrees when I woke up but it's down to 34 degrees now. At least the rain stopped.

I like lettuce but I don't like it on burgers. If I go out to eat and order a burger I always tell them to hold the lettuce.

Is that cause it gets soggy?

No, I just don't like lettuce and meat together. I never have lettuce on sandwiches either. Another one of my quirks, like never washing my hands in the kitchen sink, only the bathroom sink. I know, I'm odd. [smilie=sillyjester.gif]

We saw him the day before the 1 and only JB show at Hershey Stadium in PA.

Good Afternoon -- I feel like I've been run over by a snow plow (the snow here was completely gone on Tuesday). Neck, upper back, shoulders are all sore. I didn't sleep well at all and couldn't even lift my head off of my pillow unless I rolled on my side (I'm a stomach sleeper). Only thing I can think of is leaning over the table to work on the puzzle ????. IF that's the case that stinks. It's not like Ive been sitting there for hours....just a few minutes here and there.

The gang across the street is at it again. We think that "dad" has moved out & taken the dog - haven't seen either in 3 weeks. John drives a propane delivery truck and he stopped here the other day while on a route (not the 1st time he's done that). He lets the truck run, doesn't use the tire blocks or flashers :(. Yesterday when we came home from somewhere

Carvana was here. They'd had a car in the driveway for about 6 months that doesn't have a license plate on it. HOA violation unless the car is covered or backed in. The Carvana driver had to go get gas & still couldn't get it to stay started. He was here almost abt 90 mins dealing with the car. It was originally sitting about 4 feet from curb. Finally 2 visiting adults helped to get it closer to the curb - now about 2 feet out but still with no license plate. Wonder how long it will sit there (it's now illegally parked).

We were supposed to see them back in December... happily I just received a check yesterday for the refund for the tickets. I've seen them 10 times. Hope you enjoy!

I went to one of our local breweries for lunch. The bartender said she's moving to Raleigh next month, the brewery is opening another location there and she's transferring. She said she's looking forward to it because Raleigh is colder than Myrtle Beach and winter is her favorite season. That's the first time I heard anyone say that in the 13+ years since I moved here.

Linda, I gotta say, I'm with Penny on this one!

I hope you feel better, too! Sitting a few minutes at a time doing a puzzle should not result in pain like that! :o

And why isn't the HMO doing anything about this... isn't that what they are supposed to be for. After all the horror stories I've read about their "abuse of power" in this instance, they SHOULD be doing something! :-?

As for the lettuce-on-burger thing...
I usually don't mind it, but if they put too much on, the burger tries to "escape" by sliding out of the bun for a big mess!

That's why I prefer shredded lettuce (if done well) than just a leaf or two.
