Good morning BN. I wanted the title to carry over from Thursday. I eat fries too often, but not now that I'm convalescing.

Hi Bill and others!!!

I got an unplanned day off today as the snow and sleet arrived just when I needed it to close the schools.

I am thrilled because it has been a crazy busy week and everyone seemed crankier than usual. Maybe a three day break will help everyone’s moods.

I am also an everything burger person. Usually have enough toppings that I end up eating it with a fork. Grilled onions are my preference, and gimme the pickles and fries!

Bill, glad to read you are managing the pain pretty well. The recovery process is always tough at the beginning it seems. Hoping Linda starts to see some relief, too. Glad Mr. Ester is home, but disappointed his service was deemed “less than.” So not cool in my opinion.

Been thinking about Dr. Corona Ken and hoping he and is family are feeling some peace with the loss of his brother. Haven’t seen him posting much, so sending a bit more love his way.

I think a leisurely breakfast is in order before I get a head start on Saturday chores. May as well take advantage since I now have the day to myself. 💕

Good morning.

The Hurricanes played the Rangers last night in Madison Square Garden. Each team has a player named Miller. At one point the Hurricanes Miller had the puck and the Rangers Miller was checking him. The announcer said "it's Miller on Miller and since we're in New York all we need now is Barney Miller".

Good morning!

Having 'a day' today. I did some more tossing yesterday, and filled up the wagon again yesterday, that I'll toss out today. Looking forward to just a few things this morning...

Thanks, Mel. :)

That's funny, Larry!! :)

Good afternoon everyone.

The sun is shining but it was a little chilly this morning heading out to the Dr. she didn’t have any insights at this point. She put me back on .88 of synthroid (where I was 5 wks ago). I have labs again in 6 weeks and then back to her on Apr 7.

I’m sitting on the couch. We just watched comedian Kevin James “Irregardless”. back in the day he was on the evening sitcom King of Queens”. The standup was really good. On prime TV.

Kevin has been diligently working on the puzzle.

Wish these tests would go a little faster for you. :( I'm on the same (under the name of Levothryroxine) 75 MCG.

Happy Friday, everyone! Not much is on tonight's to-do list. I've figured out what gets me to write the best: a warm room, my couch, and a bit of 50s music. Fallout has got me listing to "Uranium Fever"

It's a great song! Here's the scene from the show...https://youtu.be/iNLg7N5gmN4?si=sACOmdMUGKomZn_T

Have a great Saturday's eve, everyone :D :D :D

I wonder how many people don't know who Barney Miller is? ;)

OK... after that blast from the past thanks to Larry (and the hockey announcers), I can now to address what else went on in here today...

Penny - I am glad you are taking it slowly, one wagon full at a time!

PetalMal - I remember those unexpected days off... always a pleasure!

Bill - It seems your recuperation is going well. You'll be back to those fries in no time!

Linda - I hope your tests will indicate what is going on... you've had way more pain - and in various locations too - than anyone should be dealing with!

Jerry - your "writing situation" sounds more like a "napping situation: to me... but I'm old!
And Congrats to Vrabel & McDaniels for their COTY and ACOTY NFL awards! I know Maye got an award too, the Air & Ground award, whatever that is!
Now to follow up with a Lombardi! GO PATS !!!

And should Ken stop by... You and your family are in my thoughts...

Thank you... in a few weeks, I'll have to change the purging to the packing... Ick, but necessary.

And I wondered why those coaches were winning a makeup award?

Thank you for those mentioning Ken - I agree with that he and his family are in our thoughts..

Cameron just stopped by on his way home from work. Grateful he keeps checking on me. And me made me laugh with tears...  In another 2 weeks he's off for a week, so he can help me drag the wagon to the dumpster whenever I fill it up each day.. YAY!! :D

I was lazy and used the acronym from the article about them. The awards are Coach Of The Year and Assistant Coach Of The Year. Pretty standard non-made-up awards. I will say that the one given to Drake Maye, however, was a new to me.

You're welcome.... have you heard how he and the family are doing?
