Good morning BN. I pull up videos of quiet songs at night before sleep. I haven't heard Little Miss Magic yet, but will.

Good Morning BN!
We sure had a late opening this morning . Maybe due to Super Bowl? We hadn't watched in about 15 years but we were by ourselves so we had control of the remote and could check in or out as we pleased.
Anyway -- I skipped Yoga (AGAIN ) after having slept 9.5 hours. Nothing on our agenda today except finishing up filing our taxes using TurboTax. We did a preliminary filing & it looks like this will be the biggest refund in our 42 yr maritalhistory. Getting older does have some perks on the fed & SC level.
Kevin is already looking at what he wants to buy.

Good morning Linda and Bill!
Was busy this morning with 'stuff', and making an appointment for Friday to look at new cars. The guy was referred to me, and sounded very pleasant.
Today I'm having lunch with a longtime friend/parrothead. Then an appointment with the hematologist to review my last test results. My Ferritin level was dead on LOW where it should be. From 1050 now it's at 45.. YAY!!
Off to the shower, as I'm leaving in about an hour to have an 11:00 lunch.
TTFN!!

Hiya, Linda. No. The leg ached a lot and I made extra bathroom trips which didn't help. I napped often before PT came. The therapist said I was doing well with flexing and motion.
So, you get a big tax break? I can see Kevin getting something with strings.
I suggest he branch out and get a harp.

Good late morning. I had no rooting interest in the S***r B**l so I didn't watch it. I'm kind of glad Seattle won, Sam Darnold has bounced around a lot since the Jests drafted him in the first round. It was good to see him win now that he's out of the clown show in New York.

I tear up at this one for so many reasons....
Jimmy singing the song he wrote about his daughter to his daughter,
the memories of me singing the song to my daughters so many times as they were growing up,
and dancing to the song for our father-daughter dance at my Little Miss Magic's wedding,...
We miss you Jimmy!

Glad to hear you’re getting PT already. It’s a slow start but you’ll get where you need to be !
No harp here…..we don’t have room for one !

Hello All!
We're up early to get a bunch of things sorted out in the garden as it is yet another 100°F+ day in the forecast.
We picked another two buckets of tomatoes, cleaned out the chook shed and run (let the girls out for an early fossick), did some weeding, cut back the Warragul greens (a native spinach) that had gone mad. Toni is starting to prep the tomatoes for preserving.
It's 8AM and I could go a beer...
Our "winter stores" are coming along. Shelves of bottled stone fruit, a freezer drawer full of stewed fruits and now the tomato bottles are piling up.
Plus assorted chutneys and sauces...

Afternoon all! I saw the doctor today (who also saw E for ONE appointment). He was kind, gave me a hug, concerned about my mental status, and made sure I had the # for the Social Worker if I ever need ANYTHING. He said he was sorry he never got to give E any treatments.
I've been seeing him for my Hemochromatosis, and everything looks GREAT from doing the phlebotomies, so I don't have to see him again until May!!
Enjoyed my lunch with my friend, it's been a year? since I've seen her. And lunch was good!
Bill - glad PT has started, but hope you get better sleep.
Linda, glad the taxes are looking good. I have to take care of that myself (along with an accountant), and I'm not looking forward to it.
Those jars look great, Rabz.
Larry - I had the SB on, but didn't really watch.. I did want Seattle to win, also.
Thanks for another video, Mr. SPH!!

This makes me mist up too! And it was this version (from SYDKBH) that my husband and daughter danced to at her wedding.
It had always been "their" song going waaaaaay back. She even brought my Coconut Telegraph CD to a Brownie's Daddy/Daughter dance I thonk she was like 8 at the time... so this was planned for years.
I was wondering how they'd get through it... as her wedding day was a mere 2 weeks after Jimmy's passing.
They made it, though... singing along quietly to each other, while I dabbed my eyes, watching from the table.

Later in the evening after our dance, I had several different women come up to me and tell me that their husbands were crying during the dance. One said "I looked over and Tom was crying and then he said “Oh my god, they’re singing the lyrics to each other. They both know the words!" and he started sobbing!”

We had the same reactions at our daughter's wedding, as well.
And at that long-ago Daddy/Daughter dance... the DJ admitted to being very surprised a Buffett song could be -as he put it - "so nice!"
And many of the other fathers took the time to say "THANKS!"
