Cameron and Sarah are coming by to bring me some lunch and to visit today.

Otherwise it's just doggie stuff again. It's a whopping 9 degrees, but no more snow than we got yesterday. Just a dusting.

Indeed! We saw him in Las Vegas in October '06, just a couple of weeks after the "Take the Weather With You" album had been released, so it was one of the first times he'd played it in concert, and it was pretty cool. Damn, I miss those days....

We have a new weather person on one of the TV stations who says "it'll be cloudy tomorrow, and the clouds will probably be drippy."

With that forecast, I did something I never do... NOT clearing the 2" of snow that fell overnight off my driveway. We didn't have to go anywhere, so our plow-guy can scrape them off with the 12-18" that are heading this way!

Not really that good. For the first time since I retired I have to pay taxes. Not an earth shattering amount but last year I reached the age when I had to start taking the required minimum distribution from my retirement account. I had them withhold 10% in taxes and I came up a little short. No big deal.

These dogs are kinda goofy, it takes a while for them to get used to new people. So they stayed outside most of the day. And the drive is only about 25 minutes.

Just be happy the 45th & 47th Prez put the OBBBA out there this past year. For us 65+ pholks should have given you an extra $$ tax deduction

I expect we will owe some... still waiting for the last documents to dribble in.
And do NOT get me started on what that horrendous legislation did to a lot of folks' medical expenses!
