I'm off to run a few errands this morning. Other than that, it's more cleaning.. SSDD.
Have a good Monday!

While you're out running errands, you could stop off for a beer.....
And now I wish I was somewhere other than here
Down in some honky-tonk, sippin' on a beer

I thought of it, as I was 5 minutes away from Lone Tree brewery.

Wow. Late start and just a few visitors today.
We have lovely warmth from the sun.
I went to chair yoga this morning and then got the remaining food shopping done.
Came home and put a few of the former landscape blocks around a bush we planted on the garage side of the house when we moved in to help hide the propane tank.
Nothing else going on today. I may try to get my presurgery blood work and EkG done. Or not.

Hi there! We went to Erie and I bought a jacket at Boscovs, which is a huge old Sears store in the mall. I counted 60 plus steps to the mens dept. I pushed a small cart that helped, but it was tiring. I listened to RM, but Anne turned down JB's Talking Heads cover. She said he yells to much.

Good afternoon.
When I went to Mellow Mushroom to get a pizza to go yesterday, I got a medium. I usually get a small because it's easy to finish. I had a couple of slices of cold pizza for lunch today.
I decided I'm going to go to DMV tomorrow to renew my driver's license, the office is less than a mile from Tidal Creek Brewhouse. I'll renew my license then have lunch, and a couple of beers.

Good for you to get out there walking more, and I agree with Anne.

Sounds like a great plan!

Evening all! Love today's title, as sardines make me think of my Dad... he loved them!
Another single-digit overnight low and temps today never made it out of the 20s, but it was nice and sunny, so there's that.
Penny - back to the old grind, eh? You've got to be nearly done by now, no?
LIPH - good order on those errands!
Linda - your "nothing much going on" day sounds busy to me!
Bill - I have to admit I also agree with Anne on that. Jimmy does tend to "shout" a bit in live versions of many tunes, but his "Life During Wartime" seems to be mostly yelling!

My Dad, and both Grandfathers loved them, too! I confess it's been a while, but I loved them.
And nearly done? Nope. ALMOST finished with his desk, then there's mine, the office closet, still some things in the back room that we used as a storage room (was Cameron's bedroom), 2 bathrooms & kitchen cleaning products, pare down bathroom and kitchen towels. THEN I can start packing things up. I did have a great idea yesterday.. I have 2 large suitcases (one I replaced, one was E's) and then my own suitcases, a couple of smaller ones of E's, that I can use to pack several things in, including stuff I have in drawers. I'm gonna get one or two of the boxes that has a bar in it, so I can just hang up the clothes.

I posted this on FB, and this happened earlier today:
So, I have a zillion plastic hangers that E always liked for his clothes. I called the cleaners he always went to, to see if they could use them. I told her I'd stop by with a sample. I told her my name again when I walked in, and told me that my husband was always so nice, respectful, and kind. Says something about a person when they say such pleasant things, when they only see him occasionally. Made my heart proud

Same thing at Park City Center in Lancaster PA (built in the late 70's)

By the time I decided to go I thought I better check the hours for the EKG -- I checked at 2:50 - that department closes at 3:00. So, I guess I'll do that stuff tomorrow .

I need to get all my "chores" done soon since there are a few 70 degree days being forecast and that only means one thing -- GOING TO THE BEACH
