Thursday already? At the MSC

Hi kids!

Sure has been a busy few days for me. Lots going on at work and home. Just realized I haven’t stopped by in a bit. Glad this work week is almost over, because I am ready have a day or two to catch up on chores and sleep.

Adulting has not been fun as my water heater quit on Saturday. Good news is it can be repaired and should be heating water by tonight. In the mean time, I have been boiling water on the stove to make bath water less frigid. Inconvenient for sure, but very much reminds me how grateful I am for modern conveniences so many humans don’t have easily available.

They say we may have temps in the 60’s this weekend. I am soooo ready for warmer days and sunshine.

Hope your Thursday is grand, and everyone is feeling healthy and happy. 💕

Good morning Mel and Debbie. :) Sorry about the water heater, Mel. :(

Off to an investment company this morning - Mom and Dad used them for years, and I've met them many times going over their finances when they were no longer able to. Trust them a lot. My sister is going with me. :)

Then a stop at the bank so we can get banking info cleared up, hopefully.

That's about all from here. Not a lot of cleaning gonna get done today..

Have a good Thursday!!

Good afternoon.

One of the local TV stations sponsored a blood drive at the mall and I had an appointment at 11:15. When I was done I went to the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk but the Inlet Tap Garden wasn't open. I went for a walk along the pier at the Marsh Walk and saw a woman with a dog. I like dogs so I stopped to pet it. The woman said the dog was a mix, pitbull and shar pei. It was an odd looking dog, but very friendly.

Hi Everyone

Wanted to say Hi, and hope everyone is doing well.

Been making the rounds of the spring training parks and will continue to over the next few weeks. I love that we can get to so many in a day trip. I do not love hearing all the freaks, errrr, scratch that, snowbirds constantly say how awful the weather is "back home".

I really do not care. LOL

That was one of the reasons we moved here.

Have a wonderful day

Welp, the promised biggest floods in 75 years didn't happen.

We did get about an inch and a half of very welcome rain.

Mrs Rabz is still largely confined to bed or the lounge - not only have I had to vacate the marital bed, I have also be given my marching orders from the the recliner in the lounge room!

It is a long weekend coming up here - with a number of events we'd like to get to... Yeah, dream on! That's not going to happen.

Well, glad there wasn't flooding rain, Rabz!

But is Mrs. Rabz sick?

Thanks. As it is the main tendon under her foot (plantar fascia) it is a slow and frustrating recovery.

I have had plantar fascia issues for many years and it is no fun! I suppose we're paying for our misspent youth!

Nice weather day so we spent 2 hours on the beach. There was thick fog over the ocean but the sun was shining & the temp was very warm. I didn't mind skipping chair yoga for it :).

Evening BNers!

Weird day for me as I normally do all the laundry and cleaning on Thursday, and grocery shop for the weekend on Friday.
BUT the weather looks dicey for tomorrow, as one forecast has us with rain, but 2 other said sleet/freezing rain - something I do NOT wish to be out and about in! So long story not-so-short I flipped my "chores" and did the food shopping run today. And I was just sitting here wondering why we didn't watch Law & Order last night!

Rabbitz - OUCH! That does sound painful... and, sorry, but IMHO, Mrs. Rabbitz is well deserving of the entire bed and lounge, as well as a "fetcher" at her beck and call!

Larry - Kudos to you for the blood thing. I never pass the HCT test.

George - Great to see you stop by. :D And trust me when I say I MUCH prefer enduring my winters to your summers... hands down! [smilie=ohyeah.gif]
Have fun park-hopping! Spring training games are always fun to watch!

Penny - I hope you were able to get that insurance stuff settled at the bank. It seems very odd to me. I've never been a beneficiary, but my Mom was on my Dad's policy, and the check was made out to her! After she passed, I had to set up an "Estate Account", and all her remaining money was transferred there. And only then were any checks made out to The Estate of" not before...

Bill - I went to a Peter, Jim, & Brendan show in the summer, it was wonderful!! ENJOY!
