Good morning Bill, Debbie, and everyone!

Rainy and foggy here in MA. Love the title! On another note, I hope my favorite comedian does not get preempted again...5 weeks in a row since the last episode I've been able to watch...

Have a great Saturday, everyone! :D :D :D

Good morning.

The Myrtle Beach Marathon is today. It's already 69 degrees, that's too hot to be running 26 miles. Not that I would want to run 26 miles even if it wasn't too hot.

Hello Everyone!

We woke up to bright sun but now clouds are rolling in but there's no rain in the forecast.

I'm going shopping with a friend this afternoon. She has a Penn State degree in horticulture so she'll help me repot the palm tree she & Scott gave us as a housewarming gift in July of 2024. We already repotted it once but it has outgrown that one. We keep it in the Carolina room over winter since it is not one to plant in the ground.

My surgery is still on the schedule for Thursday. A cardiologist consulted with the anesthesiologist and they agreed that my one 212 EKG "number" is not high enough to warrant concern ("normal" is 200).

After that we have nothing going on except that darn closet shelf is still in it's box :).

Enjoy your day whether it be busy or relaxing.

Good morning Bill, Jerry, Debbie, Larry, and Linda!

Slept pretty good last night, probably because all of the snow stressed me out yesterday. :-?

And it's still there this morning, but at least the sun is shining... we'll be close to 50 today. When they finally are able to clear the sidewalks (they use a small tractor with a plow, and shovel the stairs), I'll head up to where my car is and try to start brushing off the snow that's covering it.

No marathons here, unless you count cleaning.. I actually have some normal things I need to take care of, like laundry and bills.

Have a wonderful Saturday!! :)

Still raining here, the 10 day forecast says more rain.....

Scratch my back with a lightnin' bolt
Thunder rolls like a bass drum note
The sound of the weather is Heaven's ragtime band

No thanks!, I don't wanna have to shovel....
However, when I went into my back yard, I left footprints because the lawn is so saturated and squishy...

Welp, I got my car cleaned off.. the sunshine is working wonders, including stuff falling off the roof JUST after I came in the front door. Scared the crap out of me. :o  At least now I can get out of my parking space, thanks to shoveling done by the maintenance team. I was even able to get a load up to the dumpster, even tho the wheels were wet coming back inside.

You can keep the snow—mid 60’s and clouds and some sun here in Michigan. Been nice to have windows open to air out winter funk.

I also love the videos that get posted. The titles of the MSC lately sure have made me smile. 💕

We got close to low 50's today, and the sun melted A LOT of the snow. :D

Great title today! :D
My calendar reminder woirked, so I was able to listen to Peter's Key West show this afternoon! I love his 12V Man album, so it was cool to hear some of the stories behind why he chose those particular songs to include on it. I was also pleased that both Mac & Nadirah joined him on stage to recreate the parts they sing on it!

Penny - there is nothing quite like the power of Colorado sun to help remove that snow... and maintenance men with plows!

Jerry - yeah, the fog was crazy this morning! :o I hope your show airs tonight, whatever it is. [smilie=huh-ani.gif]

Mr SPH - thanks for the videos they are much apreciated, as always!

Larry - as a HOG, I guess that eliminates you from ever running 26 miles, then! [smilie=ohyeah.gif]

Linda - Glad the last hurdle to jump before your Thursday surgery was cleared! [smilie=coolup.gif]

I was a runner in high school but I was a sprinter. I never had any desire to run 26 miles.

One of my co-workers at the firm used to run 2 marathons every year. She ran to raise money for charity, I forget which one, and she posted on the firm's email bulletin board asking for donations. I always donated, besides being a co-worker she was also a teammate on the softball team. She was a better player than some of the guys.

Like you, I do NOT understand the desire to run that far... EVER!
But our neighbor ran his first ever marathon last year- Boston - to benefit Dana-Farber as his wife is a cancer survivor. He did so well (<4 hours!) that Dana-Faber asked if he would join their team running in Tokyo this year. And yes, we have contributed to both.
My D-i-L however, runs a few a year... just because... I clearly do not understand her, at ALL! :o
