Good morning all!

Cameron and I are going to look at furniture and have some lunch today. Then help me reach some taller things that are hard for me to reach.

Sunny and near 70 today. :)

Have a good Monday!!

It's still cold and raining here... I know I should be leaving this climate, I gotta go where it's warm.

I don't think there's any video of this, only played live once; Jones Beach in '21.

G'morning Mr. SPH! :) Yeah, I figured that one would be a tough one to find, but I liked the title. ;)

Good morning. I have a couple of errands to run but it was very foggy earlier and I didn't want to drive in the fog. It's mostly clear out now so it's time to go.

Well, one good thing about cleaning stuff out of cabinets and drawers... I just found a $150 gift card to "Massage Envy", which has no expiration. Have no idea when E gave this to me. :D

It took longer than I thought it would to finish my errands so I'm having a late lunch and a cold beverage. This will wind up being dinner because I didn't take anything out of the freezer. I can have a snack later instead of dinner, I have chocolate chip cookies at home.

Hello all!

Love the title, Penny. Simple song, but does wonders to my mood :D Took a walk today, listening to "Box of Rain" a thousand times. Everything's melting and it's very beautiful out!

Look out of any window
Any morning, any evening, any day
Maybe the Sun is shining
Birds are winging or rain is falling from a heavy sky....

-Box of Rain...the birds were chirping today after I refilled their feeder.

Have a great evening, everyone! :D :D

Hi there! Endless soup and salad was held at a favorite eatery today. Their side salad is well made. I get it with bleu cheese crumbles and French dressing.

It was a lovely day in central Ohio. I got out of work a little early and I'm off tomorrow and will get labs drawn for an appointment with my PCP next Tuesday and then I have my post op follow up. Then, I'll stop by the store for a few things.

We're planning a trip to NY to see our oldest daughter and the grandkids for Easter and I am so excited!

Nothing happening yet with my dad's house but the deadline for my brother's kids to respond is supposed to be tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 we need to sell his house before we can get our construction loan to break ground for our new house 🏡

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the nice weather ❤️

That's a fun title/song to start the week! :D

As Jerry said, it is beautiful here!
Jim & I went for a walk and re-connected with so many neighbors, who were also out and about enjoying the gorgeous 60'°+ weather!

Penny - Furniture shopping?! :o Is your new place so much smaller that you need to downsize furniture pieces too? :-?
Wow, Habiata for Humanity will wind up with more than I thought! They will be very pleased!
And what a wonderful surprise finding that gift certificate! It is like E sending a ((HUG)) from heaven!

Larry - I dislike driving in fog also... it is only one step above black ice for me!
I love your justification of dinner cookies, btw!

It got into the 70's today.
My stepdaughter sent me a text that said "It's time for some sunshine!!!"
I sent back "Day drinking?"
She sent back "Yup".
So after she got home from work we sat out in her driveway with beer, wine, and a bourbon infused cigar.
Just watching the people go by.

Yes, I'll only be in a one bedroom, instead of 3. And my current furniture in the bedroom is pretty huge, heavy, and large. I hope they can use it well. I'll be donating a large dresser/mirror, large night stand, bed frame/headboard, 6 seated table/chairs, another 6 drawer dresser, 2 office desks, one chair, 2 metal file cabinets, 2 drawer table.
And yeah, I had a big smile when I found that gift certificate - and it will be MUCH needed!! :D

My first time in Hawaii was on our honeymoon 42 years ago and we frequently use our anniversary as an excuse to escape the Seattle rain and take a little sunbreak in Waikiki. We arrived this afternoon and leave on Saturday.... Sunbreak?
Well, at least the rain is 30° warmer than in Seattle.

Well, here it is Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday morning was full of being cranky, because a certain moron wanted to have another war for oil, so I spent a couple of hours trying to get my ute filled with diesel. I finally got some, three towns away, at an extortionate price.

I went to the shops to pick up some extra bits and pieces for dinner - the shelves were much depleted. They can't get all their deliveries because of the US's War for Oil as the transport companies are cutting back as they can't get diesel either.

I finally got home and it started to get hot - mid to high 90°s.

Our next door neighbour messaged Toni saying that they would be out all day and could we check on their Border Collie (Ellie) during the day, due to the heat.

So I grabbed the lead and took her for a walk into our village so I could collect our mail. Ellie knows every dog, every cat, every sniffing tree and every single person in the village. She even introduced me to some new people in town.

We came home and she spent the afternoon on the lounge snuggled up to Toni—she is still not mobile after foot surgery.

It's amazing how a dog knows how to lift your mood.
