Cold this morning after a day of snow yesterday. It's only about 18 degrees, but the sun is shining.. later this week it will be in the 80's.
Haircut today, and a stop by Home Depot to get some wardrobe boxes and bubble wrap.
Have a good Monday!

Good morning BN. Most of us here were introduced to Jimmy's music through this song.

Good morning Penny.
We had some pretty heavy rain a couple of hours ago but it only lasted about 10 minutes. The sun's out now but the forecast is for severe thunderstorms later
The minor league baseball season starts in less than 3 weeks so I was looking at the Pelicans schedule. There are some changes in the Carolina League. The Lynchburg Hillcats are still in Lynchburg but now they're the Hill City Howlers. The Salem Red Sox are now the Salem Ridge Yaks. The Carolina Mudcats moved from Zebulon, NC to Wilson, NC, about 25 miles away, and are now the Wilson Warbirds. Maybe I'll go to games against the Howlers, the Ridge Yaks and the Warbirds just to see what the uniforms look like.

We have had an inch or so of continuous, gentle, soaking rain over the past 24 hours.
We may get a little more today and tomorrow.
The usually dry creek down the back has a little water in it now and the frogs have emerged from their burrows and are going nuts!

Hey all !
Thyroid blood work at 10 this morning. Kevin came along so bc he wanted to stop at Starbucks. He had $30 on his account there bc I got a gift card as part of my last blood donation “rewards”. Yes, they are way overpriced but man are their Lattes yummy.
It’s been raining, thundering, windy, sunny, on a rotating basis.
We started watching “The Madison”, Taylor Sheridans new series. It stars Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer on lead roles. We like it. So far.

Was wondering how that show was. I also started watching "Marshals" which is kind of an extension of "Yellowstone".

I had a nice occurrence with a classmate in Walmart. As we said greetings and shook hands, he said,"I finally have a WABL!"
Last December I donated a beach scape for a Y funraiser and he won it.
We got an inch of snow in an hour and may get 3 more.

"Most of us here were introduced to Jimmy's music through this song."
I blame 'Come Monday' (‘74), 'APLAF' (74‘), 'Margaritaville' (77‘), or maybe 'CILCIA' (’77) for my JB addiction… 'Knees of My Heart' came out in ’84.
The first JB album I bought was probably CILCIA.

Thanks AGAIN, Mr. SPH. I opened the Café a few minutes before Bill, so we had two song lines going.

I love this song and bounced along to it live like a five year old. My intro was for Come Monday, but was pulled into Linda's better titled thread.
