It's' almost noon and I can't find the MSC thread.....maybe I need an eye dr appt now as well as all the other dr appts I have

Anyway....we have sunshine but with the breeze it's a little cool. I'll be heading out for a walk soon and then to chair yoga this afternoon.

I'm busy planting annual flower seeds but the pots are staying in the Carolina Room for now until the threat of cool overnight temps is gone.
So far 4 colors of sunflower seeds have started bo pop up, along with some wildflower & "African marigolds" which I never heard of until we moved here. They are the same color as what we had up north but they get HUGE.....as in 3' tall.

We met with an Auction Company at my dad's house yesterday afternoon and then dropped my car off at the repair shop. So I'm riding with Bryan which means I'm getting to work an hour early and am also leaving an hour early. Hopefully it will be done tomorrow
Sunday, Bryan has another sleep study to monitor how well his Inspire device is helping with his Apnea.

Sorry, no opening from me - I had a Dr. appointment early this morning, then a car wash, gas, change of address form from USPS, and picked up my mail.

I'm taking today off, as I had a blister form on my 2nd toe, and it hurts like hell.

Until a few years ago, I'd never herar of an 'atmospheric river' and now we have our fifth one of the year bearing down on us.

The Guinness brewery in Dublin is at St. James Gate. I went to one of our local breweries and they have a stout called St. Jimmy's Gate. I decided to give it a try. It's a nitro tap so it takes longer to draw a pint than a regular beer. When the bartender put it in front of me she said I should give it a minute or two to settle. I told her I almost didn't want to drink it because it was a perfect pour and I didn't want to ruin it. And it was a very good beer.

No weather oddities here, Mr. SPH.

Years ago MrsSPH and our she-'keet Nicole were at St. James Gate, just about to go in for the brewery tour, when a man in the crowd suddenly dropped to the ground. MrsSPH, being an RN, went to the man and discovered that he wasn't breathing. She yelled for someone to call 911 (or whatever it was called in Ireland) and she began CPR. A short time later, an aid car arrived and EMTs took over administering to the man. The EMTs strapped the guy to a gurney, put him in the aid car, and drove off. Nobody said a thing to my wife, they didn't ask her name or contact info or anything. My wife and 'keet looked at each other and shrugged and went on the tour. All in a days work, I guess....

Hi there! My fishing buddy does my taxes and told me 2 statements he needed were missing. I spent hours going through back files and found one right off. The other one was hiding in plain sight. It never mase it into the correct envelope.

I'm hoping that my accountant has all the paperwork needed, I dropped it off in person last week. Now NEXT year will be a different story..

My tax guy has never asked for any additional paperwork. I do my own taxes.

Larry. We used to, but our accountant found things that would benefit us that we didn't know about.

So, went to my doc this morning.. She was so awesome with her caring about E. Listened to me for about 20 minutes. Checked on a few other things (have a bad blister on one of my toes), and I had some blood drawn. Then I was on a chat/phone call with Amazon to change E's Prime account (and billing for annual fee) to mine. Call AND chat didn't work. Put me through a zillion loops, so I'll probably just cancel his, and just open my own.
