Nothing new to report here... just more packing, and a high near 90.
Have a great Saturday!!

Good morning Penny.
The Hurricanes played last night and they did something I never saw before. They won 4-3 and each goal was scored in a different way. Power play, shorthanded, penalty shot.and even strength in overtime. To make it even stronger, the guy who scored on the penalty shot had never taken a penalty shot in his career. The guy who scored the shorthanded goal had never scored a shorthanded goal before. The guy who scored the winning goal in overtime had never scored in overtime before.

Well, we got a notification from the Court that we are past the deadline for submitting the list of inventory from my dad's house, except that this is the FIRST notice we've received! We now have to submit it by April 5th. So we're on our way to the house to get the list of property so we will not default.
It's starting to feel like this will never be done.
I've also been having very strange and vivid dreams that include my mom. Last night I dreamed I was in her car and she was smoking and using the cup holder for an ashtray it was a mess, but I could actually smell the smoke. Weird.

That's kind of a crazy win, Larry!
Oh, Tammy - what a huge PITA this all is for you. And I often have vibrant dreams like that, too!!

Hey Guys & Dolls
It's a beautiful day at the Carolina Cabana. I hosted a neighbor girls' coffee this morning. There were 9 of us, several of whom had never met which is awesome!!
Kevin & Scott spent 4 hours hanging an 800lb weight max metal shelving system in the garage ceiling. One down, one to go. This will free up a lot of side wall space in the garage so we can get in & out of both cars A LOT easier.
Saw Dr Knee yesterday and the X-rays showed a diagnosis of "pseudo gout"......yep, never heard of that one.
I also need an MRI as he believes there's a meniscus tear.....(he pushed on the side of my knee and I almost went through the ceiling)
Other than that everyone's good.

Holy Cow -- you can't get a break on your dad's estate. I'm so sorry about this (although I understand some of the situation).

Ouchie! I've had pseudo gout a fews times and Colchicine has always helped clear it up fairly fast.
I've also had arthroscopic surgery (3X) for meniscus tears in my knees; technology has made them easy peasy....
Good luck!
No weird dreams here, but MrsSPH's 98 year old mother has been having some "issues". She's nearly totally blind, so we set it up so that she can communicate with us via an Alexa Echo Show system. She has a monitor in her room in Mountain View, CA and we have several here in our house. All she has to do is "Alexa, drop in on Kathleen" and she'll pop up on the monitor in our kitchen. She can also say "Alexa, call Kathleen" and she'll call Kathllen's cell phone and all our units will announce her call. Well, at 1:49 this morning and 2:12 yesterday morning she for one reason or another she needed to talk with us about random stuff and she called us. She's usually pretty lucid, but she is 98, and more and more her mind sometimes to take side trips. I sure hope this doesn't turn into a new habit. We really can't turn the system off, because it might actually be an emergency, but......

Years ago, I was at an eye exam and somehow it came out that I was a Parrot Head.
My doctor, who I always thought was a pretty much prim and proper lady said
"Oh, I love Jimmy Buffett"!
I asked her what her favorite song was and she said "Fruitcakes! I love the line Religion! Religion! Oh, there's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
He's so right; what we do Saturday night never goes to church with us the next morning".

Sorry to hear that news, Linda - my uric acid level has gone up for some reason and I am feeling it in one of my toes..
Mr. SPH - sorry about those calls... my Mom would do that a lot till we finally took her phone away. She still had a way to contact us tho, if really needed.

We got to the house and decided since we were going to be there for awhile, we would call the sheriff and have them come and dispose of the tear gas canisters and grenades we found. So long story short they made us vacate the house and wait for the Bomb squad to come and dispose of the items. We had to wait in the car for about an hour before they arrived. They x-rayed 2 of the grenades and said they were indeed live and would function as intended and it was a lovely day for them to take them and detonate them!
We did complete the inventory!

Hand grenades!???? I can't wrap my head around it and my nephew was given one by a widow he was helping. I scolded him into turning it in to avoid issues. He did.

Still a funny plate.
I've seen that car 3 or 4 times and every time I see it I wonder how DMV approved it.
If I were to GUESS? Someone just didn't get the meaning..

Hello all!
Not much planned for my Saturday evening other than watching the Bruins game (and then my favorite show!). Funny licence plate... Mine's just the boring randomized bunch. Have a great evening everyone
