I still can't believe he's 83, he does NOT look like it! Was Nicole able to attend?
E and I saw him maybe 10+ years ago here in Denver. Great show, but he was an HOUR late.. I cried when he sang "Penny Lane", as my late brother Dan used to call me that.

And I had a good laugh this morning... my neighbor, 2 doors down, sent me this picture with the caption, "Your People".. (I was impressed he knew what that was)!!

Good afternoon.
When the Mets moved from Shea Stadium to Citi Field, the first concert at Citi Field was Paul McCartney. I went to the show, it was the one and only time I saw him or any of the other Beatles. He kept calling it the new Shea Stadium.
The last concert at Shea Stadium was Billy Joel, he did 2 shows. I went to the first one so I can't say I saw the last concert at Shea Stadium and the first one at Citi Field. At Billy Joel's second show, which was the last concert at Shea, one of the special guests was Paul McCartney. But I did see Tony Bennett sing New York State Of Mind with Billy Joel.

Evidently he only played the full version of this once (08-30-1997 Great Woods) but did it in a medley as part of his “Daphne Blue and the Show Ponies” bit in a bunch of shows in 1998. This is the only video that I hit upon….
I pushed the fool button
My night went haywire
I pushed the fool button
Set my brain on fire

That's pretty awesome. I saw him several years ago in Hershey. I was seated up front and it was a great show.

Yeah, my days of going to big concerts are over, but Sir Paul Freakin' McCartney? I think I'd find a way!
