I love this song but hadn't realized it was an "older" one.
I've got a few more plants and seeds to get in the ground and then some annuals to buy & plant. Then I'm done
I'm heading to the library at 2:00 for the monthly "Flavor it Up" session. This month is brussell sprouts. (I don't eat them unless they are roasted/air fried with some parm cheese).
I think Kevin is going to Home Depot for something or other and then using that visit as an excuse to go across the street to Total Wine. I may have to go with him -- you know -- to get those annuals (and keep an eye on the shopping cart at TW
Have a fantastic day y'all.

Good morning, Linda!
I love this song, too!!
I don't like the sprouts in ANY way. I've tried several times, and I've just hated them since I was a kid.
I am lucky enough to get my Total Wine delivered. I'll probably go to the store once things are settled here. Since I'll have a garage, it's a shorter walk from a parking space to the front door.
Had a doctor appointment this morning, just to go over my last test results, and change one prescription I'm on.
Time to get back to the packing..

Good morning Linda and Penny.
Today is National Beer Day, I shall celebrate appropriately later.
Two NHL coaches have been fired recently, both with less than 10 games left in the season. The New Jersey Devils fired their general manager yesterday. The last 10 days haven't been good for management.
I looked up the Islanders new coach on Google, he's a lawyer. That's at least 2 lawyer/coaches in the NHL. I'm pretty sure Jon Cooper, Tampa Bay's coach, is a lawyer too. Cooper is Canadian but I think he went to college at Hofstra on Long Island and if I'm not mistaken he played lacrosse.

Hi there! Snow flurries and bitter cold here. I laughed so loud during PT today, an older lady lost her balance.
I laughed when I heard that I wasn't alowed to laugh in there anymore.
The elderly woman is a friend.

We had a beautiful weather day. I got 2 more perennials in the ground. The Brussel sprouts session wasn't all that grand but it was still nice to get out of the house/yard work.
The hot topic on our community FB page today was a goose was found dead in one of our ponds and our HOA Mgmt company is asking for any videos so they can try to figure out what happened. With all the kids around (some of whom are hell-bent on antagonizing the geese (which is a federal offense during mating/nesting season - which is now) the general consensus is a kid did something. We wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being one of those next door or across from us as we have seen them go after the geese.
Tomorrow we are going to help a (single) neighbor friend empty some things from her garage and take them to the dump. Then come back & I will help her organize some of her stuff. We've got a few empty totes to give away now since we put those awesome hanging shelves in the garage ceiling.
Hope you all have a wonderful evening and every one gets a good night's rest

Lisa, I hope they find out who hurt the geese. And I almost hope it's one of THOSE neighbors.
SO nice of you to help the neighbor!!! (Can you come to Colorado and help me, too? )

So, I'm pretty happy with myself. I finished packing up everything in Cameron's former room (became the storage room), the office, Cameron's former bathroom (cleaned and emptied), boxed up my (not taking with me) nightstand and 2 drawers that are a part of our dresser, leaving only 5 drawers with clothes. I have a few miscellaneous items in the hallway (1 box needed), and then all that is really left is emptying the 2 refrigerators and one chest freezer, kitchen drawers and cabinets (I've already purged 2/3 of what I had), then the rest of my clothes in the closet and drawers, that will go in suitcases and wardrobe boxes. (thanks for letting me rant ) I'm moving in 11 days, so I'm VERY close. And once the movers take all that I need, I still have another week to put the final touches on the old place. The only thing I've been asked to do, is make sure the stove and refrigerator is clean.. However... they will be replacing ALL of those, ALL the flooring, countertops in the kitchen/bathrooms, and all the cabinets in those same areas.
