Good morning BN. We see Mac in Cleveland tonight. He does a great cover of I Heard It Through The Grapevine, but he has played it several times before and I'd prefer more of his music.

Good morning Bill!

A few pics from long ago when a few of us BNers gathered at our home for a Peter Mayer show popped up in my FB memories ❤️

We saw Mac a little while back as well. We enjoy his “story telling”.

Good morning Bill and BN! :)

My wifi is already out, since they're hooking it up at the other place today. I'm heading over there in a few minutes. Window is 8:00-5:00.

Have a good time tonight!! :D

TTFN!!

Hello everyone!

I woke up too late to get to yoga without hurrying so I bagged. We are on the back porch enjoying a French press coffee with the breeze (mostly from the ceiling fan).

It’s going to be another hot day but so far the humidity is low. Even with our sprinkler system that runs at 3 am I need to be diligent with watering my flowers.

It’s soon time to pack up for the beach but today will use the umbrella.

Don’t know if “it’s my head” but my knee seems to be hurting more often.

I hope all of you have a great day!

Good morning.

I have no plans, maybe I'll use one of the things I have in rewards programs for various restaurants for free stuff for my birthday. I still have 3 or 4 left.

I just discovered that the gutter on the back side of my house came down in Wednesday night's storm. Last week it was the sewer repair job and in two weeks property taxes are due.... ah, the joys of home ownership! :-?

The beach was awesome. We arrived at 11:00 and left at 2:00. You can tell by the amount of people and all the RVs/campers coming in when we left that it’s Friday !

I got an email from the Pelicans thanking me for going to Wednesday night's game and offering me a deal for Sunday's game, $7 instead of $20.50 (including fees) that I paid for Wednesday. No discount on the $10 parking fee. They're playing the same team they played Wednesday, I'd rather see a different team. When I had a partial season ticket plan I used to try to see every other team in the league once

Good Friday evening all...

Penny - thank goodness for phone data! :D
As much as I prefer my laptop, it is good to have the alternative always available!

Larry - I knew you would have a lot of "birthday goodies" stored up! I love stretching out my perks as it prolongs the celebration! Most of mine are good for the entire month EXCEPT a super-stingy coffee establishment from Seattle, that limits their freebie to the day-of ONLY!

Linda - My guess is you are just more aware of your knee now, not that it is getting worse.

Mr SPH - great set of videos today... THANKS!
But sorry about your house woes. You are correct - it is ALWAYS something!

Bill - Enjoy Mac tonight! His stories are always entertaining! Like you, I would prefer he do more of his own stuff rather than covers - especially the same ones - but hey, it's his show, he can play what he wants!

I got three bids for replacing my downed gutter; $500, $600 (will do for $500), and $960. The $960 guy was the last one I talked to and when I told him that I had two lower bids at basically half his price he got mad and wanted to know why I had gotten any other bids (I think the answer is obvious) and then he proceeded to tell me all the problems I would have if I went with anyone but him, even though he had no idea who the other bids were from. He was still yelling at me as he drove away.

My guess is the $960 guys needs pricing that high because he does not get many jobs with an attitude like that!
