Yes, I cheated a bit and used the Google machine to help me with today’s thread title. . Funny how we sing the lyrics without thinking, but I struggle sometimes to realize which songs have days of the week in them. I was listening to Radio Margaritaville on the way home from work last week, and this song was a “deep cut” that the deejay had been asked to play.

Seems like there are lots of brand new country stars and influencers and everything else making money off us nowadays. Enjoy your Sunday! I am under a blanket and letting the furnace take the chill out of the house. Thirty some degrees in Michigan this morning.

Slept a little over 8 hours last night, which helped. VERY sore this morning. New furniture arriving between 11:15 and 2:00. Sister and BIL coming over to help with whatever I need. 39 now, but heading to mid 60's.

Today, my parents would have been married 68 years. Miss those two.

Off to the shower and start digging in again. (not a LOT, cause I'm sore).

The weather here is pretty yucky! Very damp and chilly (in the low 40s) with intermittent rain and even a large burst of pretty good-sized hail around midday!


Jerry - Smart to go in April before the hordes of tourists! Although this coming week is vacay for most schools, so it might be more crowded than you think!

Penny - I hope you took it somewhat easy after all you did yesterday with the move! I know it might be tempting to UNpack everything... but there is no deadline like there was for the actual packing! Let your Sister and BIL do the heavy-lifting while they're there!

Bill - that mural sounds awesome! Something your friends will always treasure!

Mel - isn't that the truth! I see ads for so many different Country Music award shows featuring a ton of folks I have never heard of! Now, TBH, I don't follow that genre, but I used to at least recognize some names!
