Another day at my sisters. I'm enjoying the dog company.
It's windy and cloudy this morning, and another chance of rain this afternoon. Got some yesterday, but not a lot. Still grateful for what we got.
I'll be a slug again today, cause I don't have a lot to actually do around here, except taking care of the dogs.
Have a good Tuesday!!

A quiet day with nothing to do but talk with a dog is great therapy... enjoy!
I come from where the rivers meet the sea
That’s part of why I’m so wild and fancy free
I was early into crazy ways
My folks said, “It’s just a phase”
They were hoping for better days
Now in my line of work I seem to see a lot more than most
Write ’em down, pass ’em around
It’s the gospel from the coast
Reflections, not just replays
Takin’ time to escape the maze
Lookin’ for better days

Thank you, Mr. SPH. Glad you enjoyed your birthday and had quiet babies on your flight.
Other than poop and pine cone pick up, that's my only job today. (Lots of pine trees in and around their yard, and the girls like to chew on them).

Good morning.
Happy (belated) birthday SPH!!
I have to remember not to go anywhere near downtown Myrtle Beach until next week. The Carolina Country Music Festival starts Thursday and traffic will be a nightmare. This is one time the former NYer in me won't laugh at people complaining about the traffic.

I know it's exciting - but I picked up (and tossed over the fence) about 60 pine cones. I used the pooper scooper to put them in the 'shovel'. Don't want the dogs eating them!!

Hi there! After months of rain, the river dropped enough I ran aground. Well, more like drift aground. Pants off as I went overboard to push the boat to deeper water.

Good afternoon, BN!
Apparently, next week, I'm going to be performing a few songs at the party with a little bunching of coworkers. Just karaoke!
Stella Blue (Grateful Dead), Don't Stop Believing (Journey), and we need one more. Preferably Buffett, 3-4 minutes tops, and it can't be one of the "Big 8". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Something like that.. But I was just picking up more pine cones, and I lost my footing in the rocks, and face planted. Killed one side of the glasses I was wearing, good thing I brought a back up pair.

We had a lovely time with my SIL in Delaware. Bryan did great driving over the Chesapeake Bay bridge We made it home safely and I went to work yesterday. Today is our last day off together. I went to therapy and then picked up my new glasses. Having an adult beverage and then back to the usual routine tomorrow.
All of the auctions regarding my dad's estate are finally done, so we're getting closer to the finish line.

Thanks, Penny! It just seemed to fit!
How long are you fur-niece sitting for this time?
I assume folks in here saw the main-page news or the thread in the "Discussion" section above the Social Area...
But just in case not... some sad news today...
Steve Huntington passed. Here is the link to the "Mother Page" article:

I'll be home Thursday afternoon, after a few stops on the way home. I've enjoyed the time here, other than I was in the yard picking up pine cones (it was very windy today, and the dogs like to chew on them=tummy issues), and I lost my balance and fell into the rocks.. killed one of the lenses/frames of the glasses I was wearing, and I was glad that I had a back up pair with me.
Yeah, I saw the news of Steve - made me SO sad - E and I loved him.
