Welcome to Deep Cut Wednesday, courtesy of Penny!! 8)
Neat little song, "Wish Lunch Could last forever" It's a nice rarity that RM plays once in awhile.

It's amazing how quickly the time has flied since a number of pholks have passed.........

Glad its hump day. Nothing special forthcoming this week for me though. Lynn will be back on dog sitting assignment tomorrow through Sunday.
Her dog masters will be going to the NASCAR race here in Michigan this weekend...weather permitting, but they make the full weekend out of it.

Don't see any good concerts coming around the area this coming weekend. Last weekend last minute decided to go see 2 strong Canadian bands I've liked very much from the late 70's/early 80's, Triumph & April Wine. April Wine, who's front man Myles Goodwyn passed away couple years ago, doesn't sound as good as back in the day without his voice leading the way. Still plenty of great songs though. Triumph with 2/3 of their original gang sounded great. Happy with the show overall.

Later Gator's

Hiya Ken! :)

Nothing exciting for my dog sitting - my sister and BIL just drove a few hours and parked their LARGE RV to get away for a bit.

I'm finished picking up poop, not gonna deal with pine cones, filled up bird feeders, and watered outside plants and flowers. :)

Hi there! My knee still has swelling and will ache un bed when I move. I saw the PA today and he said the leg looked great! Swelling and pain after 4 months is common. He was impressed with my movement as well. To celebrate i had a killer workout at the Y.

I love the LUNCH song and sing it in my head while on the elliptical , right after Cowboy In The Jungle, Brandy and Tangled Up In Blue.

Another one of my favorites! And another cut on the OTSTL album....

The place down the block, the one with no clock
Covert rendez-vous with you at the usual time
I savor the scent of the fish on the grill
Life's so spicy up on bar-b-q hill
Looking good, you look so fine
Waiter bring us one more bottle of wine

Hello all !

I completely missed the morning "crew". Went to lunch with the Yoga Girls at a re-bought/newly renovated local restaurant at the end of our road. "Dockside Dawgs". It's a young husband/wife team with their 8 yr old son.

Spent a few hours at the pool -- water is too cold now since we had some rain but it was nice to catch up with some neighbors (South Western PA) and a new couple from NJ. Today was the last day of school so all the rats will be out all day every day.

Our current HOA Board President (who took office in January) is now the 2nd Board Member to have resigned in the last 3 weeks. So now the deadline to submit a letter of interest is June 14. Apparently the remaining 3 members will pick who will fill the 2 current vacancies and then there will be a complete restructuring of the officers. I am really bummed because the newest resignation is who we feel is/was the best of the bunch and I was really hoping that if I filled the one slot he & I could have worked together to make a difference. If this community doesn't come together our HOA could end up in a receivership. That means a huge increase in dues to cover that cost.

And the beat goes on......

I wish your HOA could come and visit the house across the street from us and suggest that they take the Xmas decorations down in their front windows and maybe remove the tree in front of their house that has been dead and leafless for the last four years. Oh, and mow your front grass more than once a month!

Glad the doc thinks you're doing okay, Bill! :)

Thank you, Mr. SPH. :D

Larry, I need to vacuum here too - you wanna do this place? They have a whole house vacuum, so all you have to do is plug the hose into the wall. :P

Sorry there's such a mess going on there, Linda. I think you all should vote for no HOA. ;)

Good evening everyone :D

Took a 3mile hike through the woods to the town commons. It was very quiet and beautiful. There were a few brooks and streams along the path, dammed by log "pads" (just footpaths made of logs). The commons were also very quiet... I took a walk around the perimeter, called the Veterans' Walk. There were many plaques dedicated to the veterans, and the panels told about their lives. Very interesting!

Then, I stopped by DQ. Much busier than I had expected, and it was my first time in a long time. Have a great evening :D :D

Yes... it has... and it is hard to wrap my head around that...
In some ways it seems like just yesterday that I was texting him about stuff...
But it also seems like a whole different world now... :-?

I never thought of walking there! We are so fortunate to have so many lovely areas nearby!
It was a beautiful day for sure. :) I took advantage of it also, and walked about 2 miles along the SNETT, my normal go-to spot.

Hi Kids!!!

Just my usual dog tired and can’t wait for the school year to end June rant. Five more work days between me and summer vacation.

It doesn’t seem possible it has been five years since Garry passed. So many good ones gone.

Does anyone remember tikititas? I think of her often and wonder about her. We have had a few members who cross my heart. Back in the day you could spend hours trying to keep up on threads. I miss those days to be honest.

Hey Ken, does Lynn dog sit for fellow Parrothead friends who are going on a long weekend the end of June??? Just curious since my dog sitting/housesitting plan fell through so I am back to square one trying to find someone who wants to hang out with some spoiled animals so I can cruise with Nadirah Shakoor……

Penny, you are welcome to apply as well-Michigan is somewhat fun this time of year 😀

The SNETT trail is also very nice :D I remember biking down it in the fall. There was a pretty rough section by the sandy overgrown field. I wonder what's the story there.

A wee bit far for me to apply to this one. ;)

And yes, I remember Cate well. I miss her. Last contact was that she was dealing with breast cancer. :(

I've never biked on it... and I'm not sure what section you mean.
I pretty much stick to the part from its (current, but soon to be extended) terminus at Grove St in Franklin south to where it comes out on Center St in Bellingham.
