Ya think I would have slept better back in my own bed, but nope!
Got laundry and a few other things to do today. But nothing out of the ordinary. While I was gone, Cameron installed my new printer, now I just have to merge it with my laptop. That ought to be fun. He also installed a magnetic screen on my patio door, so I'm getting a better cross breeze.
Have a good Friday!!

Good morning Penny, BN, and happy Friday at last!
Not much on my schedule today, other than hiding from the heat.
Penny - Is yours an HP printer? The instant ink subscription is satisfactory if you print a lot. I'm thinking of switching my printer to something else.

Good morning Jerry! Nope, this printer is a Brother. We did have an HP, but it started acting wonky.

Good morning Penny and Jerry.
The Golden Knights don't have a game Dec. 23 this year, their last home game before the Christmas break is Dec. 21 against the Hurricanes. If I want to go to that game I'll have to change my hotel reservation, I wasn't going to get to Vegas until Dec 22. Going to that game would also break my streak. I've gone to 8 Golden Knights games and they were against 8 different teams. I already saw them play, and lose to, the Hurricanes in 2021.

Bummer, Larry. I know that's one of your annual traditions.

Hot, humid and lots of smoke from Canada. It really stinks.
We signed the loan paperwork for the new house. As soon as the last t's are crossed, then it's on to the actual mortgage part and then WE CAN BREAK GROUND!!!
We are so close that we actually ordered samples for the stone veneer!
Happy Friday!

cross breezes are wonderful unless the breeze is over 100 degrees

We just spent 2 hours a the pool with a few folks we know.
I'm waiting for a call back from Dog Enforcement Agent about the pit bull.
The builder of the 28 homes across the street from us (a single/cul-de-sac road) has an empty lot diagonal from us. These homes are going $400-600,000. We had asked them to install a "silt" fence (black screen-type stuff) attached to rebar installed 2' into the ground, to keep the trash from the demon house in their own yard. I was picking up their trash every few days with a large bag just so we didn't need to look at it. So they installed the fence. It's now 8 weeks later and in 30 days the demons had annihilated the fence. Banged it all to the ground, pulled the safety caps off of the rebar and used some kind of tool to even bend a few. I sent a message to our HOA Mgt asking them to get the builder to reinstall the fence. The builder's team just came back and did that. Any bets on how long it will take to be ruined again?

Which ours currently is here. So I'll save it for evenings or mornings.

Linda! That sounds terrible!Makes me glad most of my neighbor's ayesore is 40 yards away.
I signed for a Generac instalation. It will be closer to the house than I want. To put it behind my garage would be several thousand more.

My sister and BIL have one, Bill. Even when it turns on with it's testing mode, I never hear it, unless I'm outside. And if the power goes out, it comes on within 30 seconds.

I was out earlier this afternoon and on the way home I stopped at the gas station to fill the tank. I always pay with a credit card, when I was finished today there was a message "see cashier for receipt". I went inside to get my receipt and told the cashier the card reader at the pump didn't read my rewards card when I scanned it, they have a $0.05/gallon discount if you're a rewards member. She looked at my receipt and saw I didn't get the discount. It took 9.98 gallons to fill the tank, she opened the register and gave me $0.50.

Don't spend it all in one place.

Yikes, I'm falling down on the job! I went outside this morning to work on a few "honey dos" and just now came back in the house!
