Good morning BN. Early barnstormers did barrel rolls for the crowds, spinning the plane 360 degrees. A bush pilot once tilted his float plane vertical to show me a road. That was enough trick flying for me.

Looks like it's gonna be another 100 degree day here. I'll just stay inside for now. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow morning, so I'll stop at the grocery store on my way home from that. I'll just do a little bit of laundry.

I think the 4'ish hours of sleep yesterday wasn't enough. I slept 10+ hours last night.

I cancelled my trip to Grand Rapids for The Coral Reefer show, I checked my credit card statement online and American Airlines already refunded my money. My return flight was supposed to be 5:30 this evening. I got a message on the American Airlines app earlier today that it was time to check in for my flight. What flight?

I have not been to an airshow in years. There was a cool one with WWI-era planes held in Rheinbeck, NY, that we traveled up from LI to see a few times... but we left NY over 40 years ago.

Larry - too funny! I'm glad your CC showed the refund hit before you saw that check-in text!

Penny - We are a good 20 degrees cooler in temperature here... BUT the humidity has rolled back in and it is kind of gross outside. We came in after breakfast on the deck and stayed in, catching up on some inside stuff instead.

Well, I've stayed inside today too.. Opting not even sitting on my patio. It's still 100 degrees, but only 10% humidity. Big difference, but still really hot.
