Not a fan of oysters, but I used to love them. Until E and I got sick on them in Texas ONCE. Norovirus got us. And a lot of people who were heading out on a cruise the next day.

Heading up to the old job to have lunch with a former co-worker. And I'll visit a little with other staff/co-workers. I've not seen most of them for a year or so.

Another hot one, mid 90's, but lack of humidity sure helps.

So, I had a nice lunch with my former co-worker. And I got to visit with the nursing staff friends. This made me happy.

Heat and humidity still hanging around...
We are "sheltering in A/C so as not to trigger a relapse of Jim's earlier issue. So far it is working.
I, however, did need to go out to 2 grocery stores, a CVS & then get gas... boy was I glad to get back home. Every time I stepped out of my car, my glasses fogged up. Have I mentioned before I hate heat, especially HUMID heat!

Penny - it's always fun reconnecting with people! A week from Tuesday, about 10 of us are gathering for dinner. It's been about a year since we've all been together. I've seen a few of the ladies separately, but a few who no longer live nearby are coming back to the area, hence the dinner plans!

Larry - I think you need one of those "National Day" calendars, so you can find something to celebrate every day with a beer!

Mr. SPH - another great song once again! And I hope that forecast is correct and brings you relief!
