We have 3 more windows to wash (I just couldn't help anymore yesterday bc of that much too long walk). Just chair Yoga today at 3:30 (unless I skip that and we go to the beach to relax a little).

Sister and BIL are coming home today! It'll be nice to be back in my own bed, although this one IS comfortable. Their flight from Tahiti to SFO is running 23 minutes early. If all goes well, they'll land about 2:30pm, and I'll leave around 2:45 to pick them up.

Doing laundry (sheets) this morning so they don't have to. Mopped and vacuumed yesterday. Gotta bring in the trash can once it gets picked up.

According to Mr. Weatherman, today is the peak of the hurricane season. We've had 5 tropical storms in the Atlantic but none of them reached hurricane strength. If we make it through today and tomorrow without a hurricane it will be the longest time without a one in the Atlantic since they started tracking storms by satellite back in the 1960s.

We saw 80° yesterday, but the forecast is for 71° today and they say we might not see 80° again until next summer.
I passed my exam yesterday, the eye doctor says everything looks stable, come back in six months. They did a Retinal Angiogram where they injected a dye into my arm and then took a series of pictures of my retina as the blood circulated the dye through my system..... ain't science wonderful?

Today's phishing email was from Xfiinittv and said "Problem with your Xfiaznity account payment on September 10, 2026".

Good afternoon gang!
It seems I have to login every time I come onto the site fresh. This only started happening with the conversion to BuffettFan.
This morning I checked in on mobile & prepped a message, but when I went to submit it I am asked to login in again. This is a tad big FRUSTRATING! As I often do, I just punted (cuz I hardly ever prep a short message).

Long story as short as I can, in referencing Bill's comment about staying with the boat theme today, we had a verrry foggy morning.
My post noted that I thought I could hear the Lighthouse foghorns going this morning from the City of Flint Harbor. Fortunately I was able to dock
the U.S.S. Corona in the office parking lot without any incidents.

The flyers are delayed. They WERE ahead of schedule, and it looks like they "taxi'd" for over an hour in SFO. They'll make up SOME time, but will still arrive late.

It has been such a beautiful day over here in Bellingham Corner. Flocks of sparrows have been swarming above my yard. Looks as if the blue skies have been peppered! Very windy as well, which reminds me of that song Knee Deep.

I became familar with him from "The Daily Show" and "The Tonight Show" but now, thanks to some algorithm, he shows up often on F'book when I go there.

I was out for a little while this afternoon. On the way home I stopped to get my hair cut, then I went to the gas station to fill the tank. When I was finished the little screen at the gas pump said "see cashier for receipt". I went inside to get my receipt and when I came back outside there was a car at the pump next to mine. It was a Tesla. The gas station doesn't have any EV chargers.

Ken - Yes, the logging in started with the BuffettFan thing...
But like Penny, I pretty much only use my laptop. I can't even get in on my phone unless I use the Samsung Browser (which I hardly ever use) because Chrome has me locked out for some strange reason. All my other bookmarks are completely synced between my phone and laptop (for instance, when I do Wordle on my phone, the result be here, too) but not BN. I have no clue why!

There's a convenience store and a Wendy's but there are also parking spots in front of the store and a parking lot on the left side of the building by Wendy's. There's no reason to park at a gas pump.

Well, I'm shutting down my laptop and putting it in my backpack. Then I have to gather some of the cold food I brought over here and put it in my cooler. And I have to leave in an hour to head to the airport.
