Mile High In MONDAY @ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. I thought of Penny when I heard this song. I spent one night in Denver after an elk hunt, too exhausted to do anything but shower and sleep.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hey Bill !!! (please say Hi to Anne).

Today Andrea (tailgating PH) arrives.....we fondly call her our "2nd daughter". TigZoe (Chris) is our "3rd daughter". She has not yet made the trip this far south. Always from Maine to PA but SC is just a little bit too far now :(.

Nothing is on the agenda -- will depend on what Andrea wants to do. She's flying from FL, having spent a week there with a girlfriend. Carolina Cabana is her 5-day pit stop :)

Enjoy your day everybody.

Good morning Bill and Linda.

I saw Buffett in Denver in 2013 at the arena where the hockey and basketball teams play. He did A Mile High In Denver. According to the BN song database, it's the only time he ever played it live.

Good morning Bill, Linda and Larry! :)

I was gonna ask if you're in Denver, Bill. ;)

Have a great time with Andrea, Linda! :)

Gonna do a load of laundry today. When I did dog sitting laundry, I forgot to do the stuff that was already in my hamper.

Was supposed to have a mammogram tomorrow, but am going to reschedule as I had a "Check Engine" light come on on Thursday. I want to save my driving to just the dealer on Wednesday.

I got a new stylus for my phone yesterday, and it give my fingers a rest for typing and games. It's USB rechargeable. And I got an electric soap dispenser for the kitchen sink. And it's also USB rechargeable. :)

Have a good Monday!!

I watched the Giants on Sunday Night Football, they played a pretty good game. They have a tight end named Isiah Likely, who played college football at Coastal Carolina. One of his teammates at Coastal was a wide receiver named Heiligh (I forget his first name), pronounced Highly. So Coastal had receivers named Heiligh and Likely.

Good afternoon campers.
Welcome home weary travelers (Debbie & Penny).
Kicking off another week of September and fall was definitely in the air this morn. Think the wake up temp checked in at 49 this morning, 20 degrees less than 24 hours previous. But temps will rally back to mid/upper 70's tomorrow although a bit soggy out.

Interesting weekend for football. I made the bonehead move of day on Saturday though. Got moving early and we did the MAJOR summer ending garage cleanup & I decided to record the Michigan game that started at Noon. However I didn't set the DVR to do an extended recording in case the game went longer than the allotted time slot. Spent all day in the bubble, didn't look at my cell phone as my buddies were texting in to me.
Finally sat down around 5:30 pm and watched the game......and then with a little over 2 minutes to go in the game.....my recording ended. As it was a 17-10 game of course the final outcome was still in doubt. Had to go online & see what happened in those final 2+ minutes. Ugh. [smilie=dunce.gif]

We set a record high temperature for today. The old record was 90 degrees, the weather app on my phone says it's 93.

And we've barely reached 80 today. Nice to have a little relief.

I did too! And I kept waiting for them to blow it at the end! But shockingly, they held on!
Too funny about those CC receivers!!

Off to the couch to watch TV... Don't get the Broncos on my streaming channels (unless I pay extra), so I'll watch some mindless cooking shows or home improvement shows. :D TTFN.
