Oh GAH!!!!!!!! I'm a nervous wreck. Even with a very fast internet connection, pre-registering, constantly refreshing the page, we only got pavilion tickets at the very back. What the heck? How can, in 20 seconds after they go on sale, is every ticket gone but the very back? Something's very fishy there. I guess the new type-in-the-word security thingie didn't stop the brokers from stealing our tickets. Our friends going with us got lawn tickets, they logged on at the same time we did, tried to get pavilion tickets. Oh well, WE'RE GOING.....YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D See ya'll there!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P

I'm Parrothead Michelle's hubby, last year was our first Buffett concert in Nashville. It was a blast, we tried to get a room at the BW but it was booked. We will be there before the concert visiting though, and maybe partake in a few beverages.

I lost my first tickets by waiting too long to complete the sell, and ended having to get them off of ebay :-? where I know I paid too much for em', and I still need one more ticket.....

Anyone have any helpful advice for a family of Parrotheads ( including a couple of keets' ) just getting their Phins wet at our first concert ?

Not sure how many pholks will be there-but I got a room and 'may' be driving Shamu the RV to the parking lot with a bunch of the local phlock.

See ya there!

Just got some rooms for Friday and Saturday at the HI Express near the AmSouth. They did not know what I was talking about when I mentioned the Memphis Parrothead Club but I still got a pretty good rate.

See y'all there! 8)

Important pre-party notice!

In the best interest of all Parrot Heads, we have decided to move the Nashville pre-party to the Holiday Inn at the Crossings in Antioch, TN.

Same great party, different location!
Please spread the word!!!

It's Tiki Time in Tennessee
Nashville pre-concert party

Saturday, April 19th
Holiday Inn at the Crossings
201 Crossings Place
Antioch, TN
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Cover: $5.00
Music by Tall Paul and the Divers

The Parrot Head clubs of Tennessee and Tall Paul are committed to providing the best possible pre-party environment and we believe this is the best decision for everyone. We hope you'll make this move to the Holiday Inn and enjoy the party with us!

The Holiday Inn at the Crossings has very graciously welcomed us to their fine establishment. A large tent will be set up outside the hotel for the party. The tent combined with the already existing restaurant & bar will accommodate up to 1,000 Parrot Heads! Lots more room than last year.

Tropical-themed bars will be set up throughout the hotel area to make getting a frosty beverage easier! Corona, Margarita and Cheeseburger specials will be available!

The Holiday Inn at the Crossings is located at 201 Crossings Place in Antioch, TN. A map is available on the Smoky Mountain Parrot Head Web site. http://www.smokymountainphc.com Parking for the party is available in their lot and overflow parking is available at the hotel across the street.

Live music will be provided by the same rockin' band as last year! Tall Paul on guitar/vocals http://www.tallpaul.com; Tod Sheley on percussion; Klee Liles on bass/vocals; Milan Miller on guitar/vocals; Michael "Crawdaddy" Crawley on harmonica and Tom Roady on percussion. There will be a $5 cover charge to support the band.

Drink specials and additional details will be coming soon! Updates will be posted on the Smoky Mountain Parrot Head Web site. Please go to http://www.smokymountainphc.com to find out about upcoming announcements about the party. Also view photos from last year's pre-party on the photos page.

We have been told by AmSouth Amphitheater that tailgating will not be allowed in their parking lots. We hope you find our party to be the best alternative to your phlocking needs! Information on AmSouth rules, hotels and directions can be found at http://amsouthamphitheater.com.

This pre-party is being hosted in part by the Smoky Mountain PHC, the Music City PHins PHC, the Hillbilly PHC and the Memphis PHC.
