Stern in Vegas

Post by BottleofRum »

For Stern fans out there, the King of All Media will be broadcasting his show from Vegas from April 22 - April 25 at the Hard Rock Casino. (The same week as the Buffett show) In the past the remote shows are taped at night and aired the following week on tape delay. If this is the case he should doing his last show on Friday night. Wonder if we could get him to do a Buffett related contest! Instead of STUMP THE BOOEY a STUMP THE PARROTHEAD.

I am thinking no seeing he had bashed Jimmy on the air in the past.

Huh? :o

I know Stern has bashed Buffett and parrotheads big-time in the past. So if you attempt to attend the Stern taping(s), you better stand up for us and make a good representation on our behalf. Show him what we're made of! It'll be tough to sway him in any way, and you'll undoubtably suffer endless brutal ridicule, but if you can make it past that and take it with a grain of salt, you may be able to at least get your say in and earn a bit of deserved respect from him and his colorful cast.

It's too bad Jimmy wouldnt do Stern's show. Howard would have a blast with him!

That's all it takes for howard to become a fan of someone!

ok, just for the sake of point....counter point.....i will ask. d....m....why don't you like .....howard stern? i am sure there are many reasons. the best one i can think of is.....he behaves like a juvenile at times. other times he can be very entertaining with the right guests.

I'd rather listen to a Phil Hendrie bit concerning Jimmy than Stern. And for God's sake why isn't Phil in NYC YET??????

I love Stern and his whole show. Yes, a lot of his humor is sophmoric, arrogant and sexist. So what! Howard Stern the entertainer is just that. His witt is right on and as far as what is on radio talk shows he is "King of all Media". Does anyone know if you need tix to get into his show at the Hard Rock??
I'm not surprised he does not get Jimmy Buffett and trashes him. I have not heard that rant, but it fits with his big city urban personality.

Very simply, nothing he does has any redeeming value. This may be a plus for some people, as in "entertainment" value, but it's just empty hot air and a waste of time to me......
However, don't get me wrong, I don't hate him or put down his fans, he's just not what I spend my time with or like...
